The problem with Boyce is the type of women he surrounds himself with. Every one that leaves him try to burn him. He needs to let Black Women handle their empowerment and just support it. I will say he truly does want to help black people just does it a different way. A lot of black people jealous and never use that same energy on white supremacy and non blacks. We seriously got a jealous mental issue. If this dude was such a big fraud you really think the racist FBI wouldn't go after him to make an example.

People act like filing for bankruptcy is always a bad thing. Sometimes it's a protection. But most black people don't get that. Y'all in the chat talking about Boyce file for bankruptcy, but don't know what he file it for. Then y'all are saying he's not a homeowner. I bet half y'all not even a damn home owner either. And last my not least. We all had or have bad credit. Most black people have bad or average credit. So don't be up in here trying to act like y'all some damn angels. Economist? No, he’s not an Economist. A financial professor yes, but not an Economist. Sandy Darity is an Economist. Rock, I implore you not to get caught up in Boyce’s lies. Please interview Dr. Darity or Dr. Darrick Hamilton. Their research includes, but is not limited to the following: economic stratification, economic inequality, the labor market and "marriage market" outcomes, caste and race, disconnected youth, ethnic diversity and conflict, and job tenure versus work experience. It’s imperative you have a balanced conversation regarding wealth and race. Thanks again and keep up the great work!!

+J B Those things have more to do with sociology than economic theory. I have read much about economic theory. Economics is about the production of goods and the factors of production. None of it goes into anything about ethnicity, stratification, caste, youth, or that other stuff you mentioned. Those are all sociological issues. They may be important in some instances, but still have nothing to do with economics as a theoretical science.

Our biggest problem as people is thinking that the leaders are to do all the work. The leaders point us in the direction, we cannot expect them to walk for us. People in the comments take a hint: Whether you like it or not we are discussing the leader and not you, yet WE must listen to become somewhat successful. Hold your leaders up, not just to scrutiny but also to commend them. Do you know what people go through to dedicate themselves to this cause? Exactly

Even with Dr Boyce Watkins credentials some black people still have something negative to say. If you don't like what he's saying or what Farrakhan says or Yvette Cornell or anyone else just keep it moving until you find someone's information that fits you. We (Blacks) are our worse critics.

If you don't like the man Then Why Are You Here. I thinking hmm you must be a hater. Cause once I determine I don't agree or rock with someone I'm not going to waste my precious time giving them energy. Also, anytime you dealing with your interests you should do your own research I would Never invest my money especially large sums because someone told me to. It's investing it happens at white investment companies as well Investing is a RISK.

@ 12:45 We did not ‘burn down everything thing we had to become powerless and defenseless.’ Based documented history, mobs backed by local governments did that... but, go ‘head, get yo money, Black man.

@42:15 It’s interesting that Dr. Watkins wants the Black community to look 250 years into the future economically but 50 years is the cutoff politically ?????
