"Boyfriend air" is a phenomenon of a woman supposedly becoming less physically attractive or less happy with her appearance after spending time with a boyfriend. The term #boyfriendair is most often used by women who are in #relationships with men.
The 'boyfriend air' theory is proving to be quite the shared experience on TikTok, with users filming the before and after effects of spending time with their partners and no, it's NOT cute.

Boyfriend air is real, but I think the more accurate name for it is vape air. When I spend time at my boyfriend's house, and hes been vaping, I feel absolutely awful. My skin looks dull, I have less energy and my mood goes down

Nah, if they were actually pretty no amount of "boyfriend air" would mess that up. Their "good looks" were hours of slathering on kilos of makeup and whatever else they used to mask what they truly look like. 😂 Edit: typo

Some of these ladies just look like anyone else would aftertheir hair has fallen a little and their skin oils come through a bit after a couple of hours. I look a little dishevelled a few hours after I've gotten done up because I don't go into stasis just because I've made an effort with my appearance. My body keeps on functioning and I keep moing, curls start to drop and makeup mlts a little. My clothes move around a bit snd crease where I've been sitting. As for looking worse when I'm at my boyfriend's house - his bathoom has less flattering lighting and I'm living out of a bag. He's not making me look worse, it's just that I'm not home with all my amenities and space and particular ways of doing routines. I look worse when I'm getting ready in a hotel vs. at home too because I have to make a trade-off on what I bring with me.

It might be because you’re out of your normal routine compared to when you’re at your own home. It can happen to me if I’m traveling and really has nothing to do with a man That’s why I make sure to have what I need if I’m going to be away from my regular home schedule
