This situation puts the man in a desperate situation because his feeding, housing and security has been jeopardized. He then tries everything he can to get back with her so he can have his basics taken care of, but to no avail. He feels extreme anger because he has been placed in a desperate situation and then seeks revenge. Bottomline, never get with anyone who doesn't have their basics in order.

I once heard a domestic abuse survivor state in an interview that she took care of her abuser so well (provided housing, clothing, food etc) that when she broke if off with him he didn't know how he was gonna survive without her - that man shot her 9 times and she survive to tell her story
