Amy Lee Fisher I see so ur GP is the predominant issue., I think I remember a while ago you were breaking out in rashes because of a formula u tried? Was just wondering how things have been. To an extent I can kind of understand what you’re going through, I myself have horrible digestion, starting in 2011 I started having to blend my foods I would challenge myself to eat and blended foods but it would always results in severe constipation and bloating swirling nausea tachycardia. But if I blended food it was less severe reaction, this was back when I could have about 20 different fooods including spices. As of now due to my to The return of both my internal and external full recital prolapse which doctors don’t know why I have this I’m not elderly never had children. I literally cannot go to the bathroom unless I take large amounts of magnesium citrate and even with basically a liquid stool it does not come out sorry for TMI the motility of my colon doesn’t not work, I had surgery in 2015 after severe adverse reactions from Anastasia I was told Most people wake up 15 to 45 minutes after Anastasia in my case it took nine hours to wake up ,i ended up being hospitalized for a week. And then started having adverse reactions to all the pain meds convulsing hallucinating flushing vomiting swelling . Since then i developed pots and my problematic MCAS issues worsened to the point where as of now I can only have blended potatoes in water but I basically just drink them and drink unflavored Neocate splash. so I’m stuck deciding if spending literally hours in the bathroom due to motility issues or running the risk of severe adverse reactions to anesthesia and the possibility it could permanently make me worse or better.. Even though I’m not in the same situation is you I had sympathy for what you go through and understand to an extent the frustration of chronic health and complications.

DontAsk was the anesthesia the basic general anesthesia? I've had problems with it as well. I do extremely well with a spinal epidural and propofol!! You don't have nearly as many problems. It would be worth asking if that type of anesthesia is possible with what surgery you need 💜

Kim Christian The general anesthetic used for my surgery got me hospitalized for a week. Last year they used typical and aesthetic not the kind during surgery do use this when I had my colonoscopy and : biopsy. I had such a terrible reaction they turn the air off, thankfully they had given me Benadryl through my saline iv prior to The colonoscopy and biopsy. However later ended up having to go to urgent care. That’s great that you found something that works for you, if only it were that easy in my situation. But I will definitely ask if that is an option. In the meantime i’m realizing how much I actually need surgery, Sorry if this is TMI basically my external rectal prolaps has now reached 6 inches long, and my stool remains trapped, because of my internal and X ternal rectal prolapse which make going to the bathroom challenge. this is quite frustrating because literally 95 to 98% of people correct their problem through surgery, but mine has returned , drs don’t know why this is happening. May I ask what did you experience with your anesthesia?

My main problem is with breathing. I cannot go to sleep for about 24 hours after I wake up from surgery because I stop breathing completely. I also get extreme anxiety and dissassociation. Random numbness on my face. Just really weird symptoms that only happen after general anesthesia. Whenever they give me vancomycin in my IV before surgery my face turns completely red and super hot. I know it's a known side effect but no fun feeling like your face is stuck over a campfire!
