I remember seeing this on TV when I was a kid growing up in Hong Kong in the early 2000s. It was the first time I ever saw the 12 Days of Christmas, I didn't even know there was an original one at that time. This song is really old (around >18 years old I think) and I still love it! 🎄#ProudDesi

First time today & first thought was how does this exist due to all the "Karen/Ken/Snowflakes" complaining this or that as we had stuff like this then on TV, 2nd was that it would still be ok in the right place, at the right time, on TV today. I am British, but have worked in India for several years. This is perhaps, graphics taken into account (the figures are so cute), my favourite KZfaq video. Ever. It is so NOT racist (as someone said! So, as soon as you imitate the characteristics of another race you are racist?? Rubbish!). It is a totally affectionate (and pretty accurate IMHO) take on Indians (bless 'em! I just LOVE India). My son is Indian (adopted orphan from Kerala) and he loves it too! Brilliant stuff, thanks Boymongoose!!!!

My husband works at a hotel that is owned (along with 28 others in their property portfolio) by a family of Indians, and this year they sent this link in a message to all managers thanking them for their hard work...the link said "please enjoy this little comical strip for the holidays" or something like that. Never seen/heard this before, but it was a hoot. :)

2022 here, loving the humour in this song, shown to me today by my supervisor, we are bit of Xmas Gringe's so not into the hype & enjoyed Xmas spirit for the first time this year, the "Racist" lyrics & "Stereotyped characters" in the cartoon were hysterical golden & reminded be of the days when we could laugh at a good joke without fearing someone calling you out on this or that.
