This song was written by Sir Andrew Lloyd Webber for the musical "Whistle Down the Wind". Boyzone was asked to perform it here for his anniversary at the Albert Hall. This was the first time the song was performed and it caused quite the stir; the TV network was inundated with calls for the song to be released as a single and eventually it was. That year it became the Song Of The Year in the UK and to this day remains one of Boyzones greatest hits. Beautiful, and deeply meaningful, this touches the the very soul of the listener.

A TRULY BEAUTIFUL SONG ! Both in words and melody , and so well sung by these young men . Stephen and Ronan were superb . Stephen Gately really captures our attention for some reason . I don't know why because Ronan's voice is just as good . However we are particularly drawn to Stephen , apart from his gorgeous voice there seemed to be some sort of special quality about him . I have never liked boys groups except this one . What is it about some people, Stephen just pulls us in from the first note when he starts the song off . Its an undefinable quality , and perhaps this is what really is , the so called X factor . Stephen son , the world loved you , now you are at peace , .....your home now where there is joy and happiness.

This by far is (in my opinion) the best production ever of Boyzone singing 'No Matter What" The orchestra complements the singers and the song perfectly.
