The beginning of life is when you step out of your comfort zone, and don't fit in a box, create your own reality, flow don't force, quell the ego, left school in 1982 with no qualifications,( same school and year with DJ Fat Tony Marnock)Truck driver,Raver, working for Guru josh, working on the Bill, nervous breakdown, sectioned drug addiction, depression, homeless(my own fault),cared for my 82 year old Mum with Dementia for 7 years until she passed away in May, i was with her when she took her last breath, and now author and storyteller/writer,life is always the lesson, the universe will show you the way.

God sends the toughest battles..to the strongest and bravest soldiers..A ot of it is a test..to see how you react..and by doing so you are self conditioning to co create your own future... What's easy won't last...and what's worth having..won't come easy.. Like you say..go with the flow..and just be the best person you can be..turn the other cheek to idiots and absorb as much as you can to learn and improve.Bless up bro.

Shane is so right, James you have no idea how much you help others by bringing light to situations, i know for me with depression and Anxiety how hard to give a shit each day and then feel shit because you feel selfish and not thinking of others, i been in my house 12 years only ever went out for hospital appointments, i still don`t go out i stay in my safe zone, so watching listening to yourself and Shane removes that stigma that depression has, you know we get fed up getting told get a grip of urself or wisen up move on so hats of to you guys thank you xx

Shayne Lynch has the biggest heart. My 2 boys have dyslexia,1 became a clown and sometimes aggressive, the other was like Shane, but threw himself into drama classes at school,he once showed me how he read,as a book lover I was amazed but with sheer guts, determination and me grassing his dyslexia up ,he wouldn’t admit it,he got to Uni and got a 2:1 in drama and theatre. I’d love to work with Shane and schools to get the best out of the kids with dyslexia. As u said some of the most intelligent people in history suffered but made a difference. Thanks for opening peoples eyes.

One day I was going out for a meal with my dad and his Mrs . And when I said I would drive he asked me what was wrong ! He said that’s not our way and made my old man feel awkward that’s strange because he didn’t understand how anybody could enjoy a conversation without drinking ( Irish mentality) it’s the old school way of thinking but I couldn’t break that until I moved away and could do as I wished ! At home I wasn’t strong enough!

I'm the same age as Shane and like most men and women our age, we would have very poor memories of our times in school. I actually ended up becoming a school teacher myself down the line! I can assure everybody that the standard of teaching is way superior to what went on before. I can also say that schools are much more caring and compassionate places now. I also think that a lot of the people who worked as teachers back in our day would never have entered the profession in this era as they would have been far better advised on what careers to pursue. That goes for management and government as well.
