Mr. Anderson, thanks so much for this fantastic video!!! The way you explain the relationship between molecules, moles and grams clearly, with the actual formulas necessary for each, and how to manipulate them from one direction to the other, is PRICELESS!!! Thanks for actually using the calc with us, as that's where many problems can happen. Love the glass board and terrific sound quality too!!! You're a chemistry ANGEL!!!

I don't get why a mole is equivalent to the molecular mass in grams. A molecule's mass is measured in daltons. Then suddenly, when we are measuring a mole's mass, it uses the same number as molecule's mass, but in the unit of grams instead. Like the mass of H2O is about 18 daltons, and yet the mass of 6.022 x 10^23 H2O molecules is about 18 grams. Like, what??

Just a note. I remember teachers saying "You you were paying attention then you should be able to do this." I heard you say that at the end of the video. A reminder that that is not how teaching works for every student. Some may be paying attention and just not understand or be too afraid to ask for clarification. There is also the possibility that it was not explained well in the first place. So saying what you said about paying attentions= you should be able to do this does not apply. Ever. It only belittles students into thinking they are not smart.
