There are some hidden changes ingame that werent mentioned in the patch notes (at least as far as im aware of) - The Thunder LMG Kit for the Sidewinder was reworked, its now a flat 600 rpm gun. - The JAK Intimidator and JAK Decimator can be unlocked now, via 15 headshots with pistols and 30 kills with suppressed SMGs respectively - I feel that the Kastov 762 got a recoil buff, less kick those are all i know

That whole recenter thing with the MCW 6.8 actually happens a ton in zombies with a bunch of different guns, but since that mode is all but abandoned, it's probably never going to get fixed.

The Jak Thunder LMG Kit got changed. Now it just becomes a laser the longer you fire and stays at a steady rate of 600rpm Edit:Yes, it is for the Sidewinder.

I consider the Rival and Lachmann Shroud to be top-tier weapons now with their respective conversion kits. The Headhunter outguns pretty much any other full-auto in the game at medium to long range, and I honestly can't think of any exceptions. Hitscan out to 45m with a consistent 265ms TTK might be too powerful, but the real kicker is it only takes one HS to reduce the STK at any range, I believe. This thing is extremely lethal now. The Decimator kit for the Lachmann Shroud, meanwhile, improves ADS movement speed, bullet velocity and the semi-auto fire rate cap significantly, meaning the TTK in semi-auto is now ~200-300ms. Provided you have a good trigger finger and accuracy, it'll dominate most other weapons at close range, though it's still kind of a high-risk, high-reward weapon given any missed shots really hurt its TTK.

Something you forgot to mention with the Rival-9: Due to a bug, it used to be the only SMG that couldn't use the amazing Trebuchet Brake muzzle attachment (besides the Lachmann Shroud, which can't use muzzle attachments at all due to its integrated suppressor) but they fixed the bug and now it can use that attachment after this update. So being able to use that attachment to cut down on recoil like the other SMG's is also technically a bit of a buff. EDIT: Never mind, this one was mentioned in the patch notes but apparently didn't go through. It isn't showing up for me.

These vids are honestly so helpful. SHG make so many changes, so frequently, many of which are hidden, it’s just impossible to keep if you’re only able to play a few hours a week.

The MWII guns still need to be buffed. They keep widening the gap with these MWIII buffs. All of the MWII SMGs should have gotten these buffs as well. The ISO 9mm and Fennec need 5 shot kill potentials.

If the WSP-9 had its Open Bolt Delay reduced/removed, it would absolutely carve out a great niche as a slower killing, but more consistent SMG with great recoil. Even with the better handling and accuracy, you're still killing much slower than any of the SMGs to take advantage of the improved range/accuracy.

The FJX Horus also has the old sway values before the buff, it starts swaying as soon as you ads, and was this way last season too, making tac stance even more viable

Glad to see the rival headhunter kit buff. Finally a good burst smg again, they are fun to use. The fjx horis is definitely gonna one of the new meta smgs. I just hate the iron sites on it though.

Not every weapon is meant to be viable in MP. Crossbow is obviously something you should only use in MWZ, it's at least T1 if not T0 in there.

It sucks in pvp, has no use in pve and its a waste of an exotic slot. If a weapon exists just to exist, it might as well get nuked from the game.

The Shroud AMP is pretty good IMO. Similar range and TTK to that of the Horus, but can switch to single fire for more damage.

These patch notes are awful. They should be bufding the MW2 guns now to make them more in line with the rest of the game now. Games been out for about a half year now. They dont need game sales anymore and MW3 guns to dominate. The iso9, Hurricane, MX9, Taq56, Lachman 762, SO14, EBR14, SAB50, MCPR, SPR208, Ftac siege, ak74u, Lachman Shroud could ALL use buffs. If they integrated the MW2 weapons, they should make them viable then because otherwise, if it was a waste of focus, assets and resources. If they planned to make the guns ass, they shouldnt have been kept in the game. Patch after patch after patch all they do is nerf their stupid overpowered Conversion Kits, do minor changes to some random guns that dont shift the meta at all, and continue to repeat the cycle and its stupid. Usually seaaon 5 of a COD game right when the games over and done with, their patching FINALLY starts to make senae and then the next game is out. Im getring to the point where im just going to skip CODs for a few yeara and then just go back and play stuff and have loads of content for a year and be behind everyone else to have better SBMM too.

Mission control vest is pretty strong if you like to hold back and get into a good rhythm. It's OP on Ship. You can single handedly spawn trap or control the map with killstreaks. It's a massive buff to killstreaks, in the right hands.

Explosives get no love in cod. Sure the rgl80 sucks in hardcore sometimes but it should have power very similar to a grenade. 4 shots to kill with eod is just stupid. EOD is too powerful and needs a serious nerf. I always hate the explosive challenges they put in the events because they are very hard to get. Got to throw two nades and hope the enemy has some damage.

I've been having an issue when trying to select my loadout, it skips over one. Like for example if I wanna use loadout 2 and I start at 1 it skips and goes to 3. I've had this issue since season 2

I’m glad SMGs are dominant in this game. Also it’s funny to see that the Rival-9 was one of the only good SMGs at launch and was the best at one point. Now it might possibly be the weakest SMG after the other SMGs got buffed & some new strong ones got added. Btw I haven’t used the Superi 46 or seen it yet.

COD has been an SMG dominant game, it's stupid. Use SMG & ninja/covert sneakers and run around taking people out across the map with said SMG and never go negative in your KD. You can tell the developers have never been in combat, much less fired a gun

@@Fenolmenon nah it’s not stupid. It’s more fun than it just being ARs as the dominant class. Full auto ARs are a bit vanilla and basic. I’ll admit I use ARs a lot and that the AN-94 or burst ARs are usually more interesting in CoD than other ARs. But SMGs being dominant is still cooler. When SMGs are bad, the game isn’t that fun. When SMGs are good but not as good as ARs, that’s fine but I don’t know if that’s the optimal.

@@bobdarrick2628 ARs have never been dominant in COD. SMGs as dominant is stupid because they have no weaknesses. They have the highest mobility for getting around the maps easier fast fire rates, they have fast TTKs, and can outgun longer range weapons. And that's not dumb??? You and I have a very different idea of what dumb is then and we will not see eye to eye on this.

@@Fenolmenon SMGs have more recoil than ARs and less bullet velocity. Plus the MTZ 556 and Holger 556 for example only drop off in damage once (as long as you’re hitting upper torso or arm shots - which we have in this game and it isn’t a small area). So SMGs do have more drop off than some of the ARs. So it’s fine if SMGs are dominant in MWIII.

@@Fenolmenon also that really isn’t true. ARs have been dominant in CoD. SMGs were really good in MW 2019, BOCW and MWIII. So u could argue those were SMG dominant games. Although in MW 2019, there were a lot of good ARs so maybe that was AR dominant. BO3 probably was AR dominant. BO4 was definitely AR dominant. SMGs were poor in that game. WW2 was probably rifle dominant cos the SMGs were a bit weaker overall as a class (but not nearly as bad as in BO4). And in MWR, it wasn’t really SMG dominant cos the gunfights weren’t a bit longer ranged and the game was slower paced.

Bp50 kit and mk2s are all I been running b4 the update. I was sad initially hearing of the nerf. But it's still pretty cracked out. And damage seems untouched. Although can someone verify if they touched the mk2s. I dont remember hearing a nerf but they do feel somewhat less consistent. Maybe jus me.

Hey Ace I noticed the munitions box stopped working after season 3 with gunner vest equipped. It now only refills grenades. Is this permanent or just a bug

With the nerf the RGL-80 has received, I'm glad I finished all the challenges for it a while back. That weapon is ass for a launcher. That's why I did it in Hardcore because it took way too many shots to kill a player that's NOT using EOD.

Hey Ace, can you please take a look at how points for scorestreaks are working now? I've always used scorestreaks and found it is a lot easier to earn the higher streaks after season 4. Like I called in 4 stealth bombers last night in a game of Hardpoint while not even going positive. Both teams are constantly calling UAVs and counter UAVs and people are saying they're getting swarms with only like 5 gun kills

Streaks are currently stacking and looping. I believe this is unintentional as they stated these characteristics were going to be coming to limited time modes throughout Season 4.

there is something going on with scorestreaks assists. my kills with killstreaks seem to give half of a kill in value and UAV assists seem to give a quarter of assist points. something is going on...
