Can I Beat Pokémon Scarlet With ONLY Kanto Pokémon?

I attempt to beat a Pokemon Scarlet hardcore nuzlocke using only the original 151 pokemon from Kanto. Can I do it or will I lose?
This was defiantly the most stressful run yet so I hope you guys enjoy!

Yeah leaving Hitmonchan against Staraptor was asking for trouble, the same with Sandslash against the Bellibolt. You saw the disadvantage and choose not to switch out resulting in unnecessary losses.

For all the power creep, there are still some insanely good pokemon in kanto. Gengar, Golem and the other trade evos(some/most not accessible), dragonite, arcanine, victreebel, raichu, nidoking(not accessible), all the starters, the legendaries(need event or trade), snorlax, fearow(not accessible), venomoth(only because of QD), primeape, magneton, cloyster, starmie(not accessible), gyarados and jolteon. There are more that are still "not bad", but for the most part kanto has very few "bad" fully evolved pokemon. Feel free to mention others if you think they deserve some love.

@@BPNuzlockes True, Going by the average for fully evolved pokemon, it is still above in hp, and the specials(below in the rest), and it now has a decent movepool and typing, especially compared to gen 1, which is where i last used it. And with the new way to remember moves it is even better if you can get it early.

these games are so easy regardless of the team they are the easiest games to date it does show however that people choose to skip trainers and exploration if it's optional giving you the impression of gyms being at your level

I really love this concept and I think I want to do something similar. How far do you have to get in the beginning before you can start using an old starter (like your Bulbasaur)?

Ahh I traded it from a different save but you can trade as soon as you hit the first pokemon centre. Otherwise I dont think you can get bulba until post game ;-;

Yeah the hardcore ruleset bans items in battle (held items are ok) but honestly just play how you want it'll be more fun that way :D

The user's body grows all at once, boosting the Attack and Sp. Atk stats - from gen 5 onwards. Trailblaze would've done way less if it wasnt boosted haha
