Keep making these great BPS videos bro! It’s great to see them selling out on Amazon! Those people there are great and it’s great to know how they are being supported for their great products. I have 3, intend to buy one every month.

They are without a doubt the best bang for your buck on Amazon. I prefer them to mora now and am absolutely devastated that Russia is causing them to not be able to make knives right now. Hopefully there factory doesn't get damaged and they can get right back into production asap. I bought 3 extras since the war started, not because I needed them (I have 15 bps knives) but because it was one of the only ways I thought I could support them. My kids are going to get a pretty crazy knife collection when I kick the bucket

These are 2 of the best BPS knives. The Adventurer is also great! I sand off the hawksbill at the pommel on all of them. It changes these from good to great. It is simple. I used a standard belt sander with 400 grit and cleaned it up on a Worksharp. Oiled the scales.

Dang, it's exactly what I hoped. From what I've seen here and the low price point on Amazon, I'm going to give it a shot. Thanks dude! I'll give you a subscribe for your efforts

Well worth the money, and much better build quality than the condor kephart…. Just wish they offered it in a full flat

Just got my BS1 today, a very nice little knife. Now before I applied Boiled Linseed Oil to the handle. I did smooth out some rough spots. Easy to do, and didn't take long at all. Then I applied the oil. As for the sheath, very well made and stitched, but tight. so I used Boiled Linseed Oil on it. Inside and outside. Then slid the knife in and now its a good fit,and the knife goes in as far as it is supposed too. Now the belt loop is a bit small. So I just took a carabiner and attached it to the belt loop on the sheath. Now I can just attach the knife to any of the belt loops on my pants, a easy fix. Over all a very nice little knife for the price. Glad I bought one. The small one has Ash wood handle scales.

Nice knives for a really decent price. I got this smaller version a few days ago I'm really happy with it. Someone mentioned that they're going to take off the handles and add spacers in between to give it a little extra thickness and a little extra pizzazz.

That’s a great idea, i modded mine, but didn’t end up liking it to much.. I think I’m going to build an entire new handle for mine

Since my first comment I got three more BPS knives including the larger version that you have in your video. I like these much more than the Mora. And don't forget Amazon takes a cut of the price so that means they're making even less money. Quebec.

Seriously though, they are absolutely a value king and after a few years of use, I can safely say that I prefer bps carbon (1066/95g) spring steel to moraknivs 1090

Honestly I'd take a stainless Mora over these. Mora's handles are more weather-resistant, won't rust as easily, and they've got better steel. I'm not a Mora nut, its just pure utility I'm after.

Your entitled to your opinion, but I prefer wood to plastic for many reasons. Not that I don't enjoy mora, as I have at least 20 different ones, but the 1066 bps uses, although carbon, is way way touger and better than the 12c27 stainless, and i actually prefer it over their 1080ish carbon mora uses (in most cases) the bs2fts is on another level compared to a standard companion mora stainless. Honest question, do you have a bs2fts? Or are you just assuming?

I have both the adventurer and a few Moras + a Mora Garberg stainless. The BPS have an amazing edge. The steel is very good. I use the stainless for wet weather. The BPS I use all summer. Every Mora I have needed work on the edge nowhere near the BPS edge. These knives are a hidden Gem . The quality and the sheath the knife could go for much more. Most people don’t realize carbon steel heat treated right is next to impossible to tell 1066 from 1095-1070. The difference in edge retention is so minimal. What might be notable is toughness 1066 is extremely tough. For fishing and very wet weather a stainless mora is hard to beat. Especially when Garberg is going for $50 and the adventurer is $40. Really hard to beat the Garberg if you don’t mind fixing the grind, I prefer convex not a secondary bevel.

@ScalpingYour TP oh man... i don't know where you can get a garberg for $50 bucks , but sign me up. Here in Canada the are $140 minimum for the stainless and 150 for the black ... I've always wanted to try one, but the price has scared me off when the companion hd is like $35

@@shawnpepin7890 damn I forgot you were in Canada. Here in the states Amazon has the Garberg stainless it just went up $5 so now it's $55. That is the basic sheath. The carbon is $65. I bought the molle set up before Christmas it was $65. I wanted the stainless because the BPS does everything in need and I have hultfors which is the bomb. I feel for once I don't need any other knives. Unless something comes out that is a amazing chopper with a great carry system. Of course being lefthanded I don't see that happening. I can't see anything being better then the stuff I have and none of it is very expensive. I hope you guys get freedom and they stop stealing your hard earned money. Cry havoc unleash the dogs of war!

@@richardhenry1969 i would highly recommend the skrama if your in the market for a chopper. Chances are you’ve already heard of it, but I have the 240, 200 and mini skrama, and bang for buck are unmatched… don’t got the sheath, as they include a cover that a sheath can be made out of very easily… the only chopper I use

Good vid but the voice fry and “uhhh” made it hard to watch. Sound like a valley girl, put some bass in your voice. Studies show people will suffer through bad video more than bad audio.

Add some bass to my voice??? Where do I find that dial?? Lol... voice fry?? I do have a little raspy of a speaking voice, and that not something i really need or want to change, and definitely not considered "bad audio". as far as my "ums" that's just how some people talk when they aren't reading a script... my videos are off the cuff. Theres a difference between constructive criticism and just being a douch by saying someone sounds like a valley girl...someone's parents didn't raise them right...

@@KINGTERIK the bs2 is a much more robust model and is so close in price to the bs1 (full tang model) that unless you need a smaller lighter weight knife, the bs2 will be a much better value and functional tool. Bs2 all the way
