Hey Kevin, I hope the Knife Nurse had a wonderful Mother's Day 💐. I have several BPS knives, my favorite is the Adventurer. They are great knives, simple, no frills but excellent for the money! Hey Kevin, great video as always. I believe that Case paste is made for keeping carbon steel blades shiny, I guess for folks that don’t like patina. I agree, the Flitz is an all around better polish. Another good polisher is those yellow jewelers cloths, I forget the brand, but they work real good. Have a great evening, looking forward to the next video. God bless.

Case paste has a higher grit content and is better at getting stains out of CS . It still will polish up ❤

The BPS knives are offered in carbon steel too which would be my pick every time if I got one. There's one called the Adventurer and one that's very similar to a Condor Bushlore I know would be great.

The Bps Condor one is the B1S I think. Thier adventurer is thier most popular knife in Carbon. Awesome knives, for sure. The leather sheaths are very nice

I personally like Case Paste better, although i do use Flitz. Just depends on the knife, and conditions. Everything has a certian application to use it on depending on your needs.

He needs to read the directions on how to use the flitz, he rubs it on, and wipes it off. You put a small amount on a rag and polish your knives.

Cmon man…you don’t think my hand is just as the rag adding it to the knife? Don’t you see me using a RAG to buff it out? How many knives do you clean in a day, a week, month, year? I do THOUSANDS!!! 🤫🤫🤫

Whew, that Desert Storm knife made my stomach jump!!! Almost 9 months in the big sandbox during Desert Shield and Desert Storm and numerous deployments afterwards. The Air Force was right over there unified with all of the other branches of the military. Brothers in arms. Thanks for your service.

You could easily get a replacement for the broken tool of that Gerber multi-tool under their lifetime warranty. I broke one of the jaws on the pliers of my Gerber multi-tool and they quickly sent a replacement jaw so I could keep rolling.

5CR14MOV is Chinese made stainless steel. Probably a readily available and affordable option to meet the price point of the BPS knives.

I love the BPS knives, I have about 6 of them, well built and razor sharp out of the box, you can’t beat the price on them either, they could double the price and they would still be a good knife for the money, keep up the videos, I enjoy them each day as I eat lunch at work.

Recently got a fiber wheel and a 3in bench grinder to help clean up the old knives I been hunting. A good tips and tricks about that in one of your upcoming videos would be appreciated.

Just be careful. Don’t get the blade edge near the wheel while in operation. If you’re going to be cleaning the the blade edge hold it down not up

I wonder if Flitz was believed to be better because you had already used CasePaste first then Flitz polished a polished surface and had you reversed would the Case Paste have appeared better in reverse order, doubt much if any difference in the two

I think it does, plus if they still make it like it was when I used it…it’s a liquid paste instead of a cream. Makes a mess if you’re not careful.

Hey doc is that ridge on your left thumb nail due to you cutting yourself through the cuticle? I was told by the doc I almost had a ridge, but my late fathers opinel just stopped shy of the cuticle when it's sliced right through my thumb.

Yes it is! A Case XX folding hunter closed on my thumb when I was trying to cut something. That big knife needs to be a lock blade!! LOL

Great video. You can contact Gerber about the multitool and they’ll send a new one…except the new one will be Chinese made..🥴 I know some Gerber are Chinese but I didn’t realize the multitools are now Chinese as well.

I’m having a hard time warming up to BPS knives not saying they are bad knives I’m just mentally exhausted from all the political stuff going on. The Case Trapper looks awesome and thanks for the story. Good luck with the testing I’ll check out your video on it tomorrow. Have a great day.

That 5Cr14Mov is a Chinese made steel. It's not great not terrible. It's equivalent to 420Mov steel. I wouldn't bet my life on it, but as a backup blade, you could do worse.

Yeah sorry knife dr, you had me interested. I'm ex Australian Army and veteran Prison Officer. All you had to do was replace a badge for that yellow knife in the newest clip and you didn't. Happy to take free knives though !! Sorry goodbye

For best results using flitz ,you just put a small amount on a rag and rub it, the more you rub the better the results, you don't put the flit on the knife.

Disappointed Kevin,you don't mind taking knives from people all day long but when it comes to giving one back it's a different story, just give old mate what he wants you got them for free .

The man said he was going to give him a Barlow. He can't just trade everybody that sends in a knife and asks to trade without first contacting him before hand. Kevin does giveaways out of his own pocket, orders straight from Buck and has them shipped straight to the winner. He gives all the money he makes from these knife sales and gives it to charities.
