I have been attending and supporting Balls since I was a teen in the MID '90s and if we want to keep it 100 Asian, White, and Hispanic Kidz have always been SHADED in BALLROOM PERIOD Case in point Justin Labeija a TRUE PIONEER and MAJOR CONTRIBUTOR in Ballroom and VOGUE in general but constantly is SHADED for Kidz who are not as TALENTED as he is. And I can mention many more situations like this because as I mentioned I personally have about 25 years of insight in the SCENE and have witnessed with my own eyes the SHADE that goes on. There was no reason why those Asian Kidz deserved the CHOP other than what I had mentioned above and FAVORITISM.

@@santoshthapa8398 Let's be FAIR. Not every African American JUDGE or JUDGE in general CHOPS Asian's, Whites, or Hispanics. But what I will say is that there is ESPECIALLY now a sense of SUPPOSED OWNERSHIP among most African Americans in power in the BALLROOM SCENE and it's all about MONEY and FAME since the VOGUE and BALLROOM SCENE has taken over almost every media outlet. There's a history I could explain in more detail if you wish to know but if we truly want BALLROOM and VOGUE to last we need to be more inclusive PERIOD

I am kind of loving how low tolerance the judges were. All the chops were seemingly fair except the very last. Probably wrong category ? I love this shit regardless.

I thought the last was good too! But I heard this was tribute to someone with an intense style. So I’m glad it’s probably a category thing.

@Trinity M I like your comment! I’m a white trans man and although I understand that the ballroom community was built by the black and Latino lgbtq community, and that ballrooms are their special place, I still feel a bit bummed that I could never compete or dance there. I did see a white guy cut in line at the beginning of the video. Was that a no-no because he is white? I mean, I’m sure a white queer person could never win a competition because the judges have the power, but always wonder. I love my LGBTQ community and usually feel a part of it, but there are still areas within that, because of its history, I feel like I should tread lightly.
