He'd be on the floor not able to move if he did really severe damage to his spine. Hell, I had squeezed the sciatic nerve in my lower back in such a crazy way, that the nerve was caught between spinal bones and I collapsed in tremendous pain. Even for those few secs, it lasted a long time. I Needed to sleep or lie down, and pop pain pills the whole day. He only leaned forward, bc it was too heavy. Another thing he couldn't do, freely if he hurt his spine badly

Here's a safety tip for all those that have wooden steps, tack down some roofing shingles on them. Your typical 36" wide over-lapping tar-based types will do. Or can even use roll roofing if you have a really wide staircase. Just make sure there's no leading edge lift to catch a toe on the way up. They come in all sorts of colors, not that expensive, easily replaced and they don't look half bad. But the sandy surface gives you super traction even if wet. Or better yet just get some Skateboard traction tape and use.. Atleast you arent dragging around tar and sand on your shoes then from the shingles..

The fact that he's in full right lock and stopped is a massive hint that you should probably be cautious. If I see a car stopped I assume he can see something I can't and slow down until I can see why. You don't need to pass the other car especially on a bend. But others are so desperate to leapfrog every other road user. I did look twice to see if it had those funny flashing brake lights for indicating but I guess it all happens too quickly.

the dude who dropped the bottle was stupid, but what you are saying isnt universally true either. even in an unreinforced state you can make glass that will not break even when struck with a hammer or shot with a bullet.
