My father grew up dirt poor. This is how they survived. His father (my grandpa) fed the house with poaching. He wasn’t killing animals for sport. He was killing them to survive. This song is a tribute to anyone who has ever grown up this way. There’s a difference between poaching and surviving.

Just found this and I love it, could have been written about 23 year old me. Came home from Afghanistan and landed smack dab in the middle of the 2009 recession. Fell back on my roots and what my forefathers did during hard times to stay afloat until things improved and I got a job at the sawmill, but for awhile, I was living out the song Copperhead Road.

You should do a song for us "diggers"!!! About how we dig medicinal roots to help heal others. Love the traditional sound, we all need to get back to our roots, may we never forget what made us and where we came from!
@hunterplaysark95064 ай бұрын
(Verse 1) In the earth, beneath the soil's embrace, Where roots entwine in a secret place, There's a digger, with a mission to heal, Unearthing remedies with every feel. (Chorus) Oh, medicinal digger, with your spade so true, Delving deep, finding treasures anew, In the roots you uncover, lies nature's grace, Bringing healing and hope to every face. (Verse 2) With tender hands, and a heart that knows, The power of nature, where healing flows, You dig through layers, of earth and time, To find the cures, so pure and prime. (Chorus) Oh, medicinal digger, with your spade so true, Delving deep, finding treasures anew, In the roots you uncover, lies nature's grace, Bringing healing and hope to every face. (Bridge) Through rain and shine, you tirelessly toil, In the quest for remedies, that mend and foil, Each root you unearth, holds a story untold, Of ancient wisdom, and powers bold. (Chorus) Oh, medicinal digger, with your spade so true, Delving deep, finding treasures anew, In the roots you uncover, lies nature's grace, Bringing healing and hope to every face. (Outro) So here's to the digger, with dirt on their hands, Who unearths the magic of healing lands, May your journey be fruitful, as you roam, And may your discoveries bring healing home.

Food to survive is one thing that I can get behind but licens cost goes towards conservation so all generations can hunt that I can get behind to
@petejones68272 ай бұрын
@@newboston024 all licensing is unconstitutional they turned a right into a privilege and thats stupid. hell the worst of all is a license to work occupational licenses are also unconstitutional so are driving licenses the government just loves turning rights into a privilege, oh and fyi the right to travel when the constitution was written included all means that helped you make traveling easier like a carriage and horses they were a right so you cant even argue driving is not a right and you cant argue licenses to hunt and grow food are constitutional as thats stepping on your ability to be prosperous and pursue happiness. the most fucked up part is Americans are such pussies they wont stand up for what has allready been deemed by the supreme court to be unconstitutional, the only problem is supreme court has no claws so they can say it all they want until the people actually take those words and force the gov to stop doing these things they will keep on truckin. there is no teeth or claws just a bunch of words that everyone ignores and forgets about.
