I love to ask myself before any shots or puts alike "what's the worsed that could happen??" It settles me in to that place I need to be to execute what I want to do without a thought of consequence.

I believe the point of the drill is to show how much break needs to be played. Especially on a longer putt, dead weight leaves it super close if it doesn’t go in.
