Comedian Brad Garrett hikes with Kevin Nealon in a Malibu canyon. Brad talks about gaining and losing weight, losing work because of his height, the time he pretended to be an air conditioner repairman with Kevin, performing on Star Search, Don RIckles, his dislike of writing comedy material, opening for Frank Sinatra, Bill Cosby impressions, his biggest complaint, watching sports, what's in his medicine cabinet, cologne, dropping 'one' in the woods, his drinking days and being sober now, fandom, that Apple commercial he shot in Prague and the Italian Alps, being a sensitive person, his Tonight Show appearance with Johnny Carson, his comedy club in Vegas, his charity 'Maximum Hope Foundation,' his book, 'When The Balls Drop,' plus more.

This is the first Hiking with Kevin I watched (many more since then). I have to believe that any mainstream Hollywood producer is ashamed by the amount they spend on their shows and Kevin out does them with what has to be the most simple show ever produced. He even makes Seinfeld's show look rather indulgent. Congrats.

Brad was great in the episode of Raymond that had the girl that ate a fly. He had scene with his mother where he said " there is no other half..... for this". Terrific acting from both Brad and Doris Roberts.

I love these hikes, but this one made me laugh so much - especially the Dobie Gillis reference, which I can't explain...except Kevin does remind me of Dobie now that Brad mentioned it. I adore Brad - they are both so talented.

I live in Oregon and work out indoors through the rainy season which is half of the year. I love walking my treadmill with your outdoor hikes. I can almost smell the woods!

I live in the mountains, and hike twice a day unless there is over a foot of snow on the ground, but I always listen to to a track of someone walking on on a treadmill to forget I'm in the wilderness.

Hearing the AC repair story reminds me of a really funny guest appearance Brad Garrett made on "Monk". Monk decides to buy a house, and he ends up hiring a contractor to fix some relatively minor issues. Brad played the contractor, who got the job because he believed there was money hidden in the walls somewhere, or maybe gold or jewels - can't remember. Anyway, he basically ends up opening every wall - just taking the house apart. If you ever watched the show, you know Monk had phobias about everything - dirt was a major one, and he also hated change and disruption of any kind. The episode was a lot of fun to watch - Brad did a great job.
