Peanut Butter & Jelly, Batman & Robin, Bacon & Eggs....the most highly anticipated reunion couple BRAD LEONE & MATTY MATHESON ARE BACK!!
After our last noodling adventure down South, me and Matty are rejoining forces to go even deeper this time, in the competent hands of Charlie Nutting -- spearfisherman, marine-life-enthusiast, and Local Legend. We'll lube up our wetsuits, grab some lobsters, suck on some fresh scallops, catch crabs, laugh, scream, (cry?), get wet (pee?)... after we sign our death waivers, of course.

I swear Matty is successful as he is because he is a fuckin’ sport. All his time on earth he made choices that put him where he is even though it endangers his natural life. No one at some point in their lives say “no” and get to have these kind of experiences. Brad and Matty are literal pearls. Love it when they’re together.

I'm not used to hearing bleeps fully obscure Matty's swearing 😂 So stoked for this episode!! Hopefully Matty will be slightly less traumatized by this fishing expedition. I can't tell what's scarier, ocean with high turbidity or riverwater with high turbidity where you're fishing with parts of your body.

Love the lads as always but the quote to come out of this is for me anyway was "You can't appreciate what you cannot see and you cannot protect what you don't know." Found that oddly profound especially thinking back to fishing at beaches as a lad in the early 90's and spending half of it picking up other fishermans lines, The ones with weights still attached we knew they just snagged the dicks with yards of line with nothing on it....Real wrongens...Not many of them now thankfully.
