Heard 'The Last Goodbye" around 4am on rage when I was a teenager, the whole album still gives me chills to this day and I'm now 41. It is a profound and epic masterpiece of emotional release into music.... and it shall always be my favourite.

I was very lucky to have seen Jeff Buckley play at Glastonbury and Chicago back in 1995!! What a great talent and a terrible loss😢😢😢

In 1997 while I was pregnant with my daughter Madeline Lydia-Grace this was the only album I listened to. She grew up. went to college in Iowa, now living now with her dad. The Missippi river runs through the town. I stood there at the river's edge and thought why you Jeff Buckley not only because of your voice and musical intellect and passion but you were only thirty! You deserved to live that photo of the river I took is on my fridge it's both haunting and beautiful like your music!!!

Man I have always thought the exact same thing that Jimmy Page stated. His guitar work was so unusual and eccentric that I too always assumed he played in alternate tunings. According to Jimmy Page he did not. That really surprises me. Buckley: what just a total original.

I heard Grace when it came out. It was 94, I was in love, the girl put on Halleluja, I completely forgot about her,was mesmerized by the music.....

We have a show called Rage. Starts at midnight goes till early morning on a saturday. Its 100%music videos and the like. I came home late and drunk as was typical after a friday session. The concert just started and i was fixated from start to finish. Instant fan. For ever miss what could have been and for ever grateful for what was.

I lived at 6711 Yucca in 88 , 2 blocks from Jeff , while attending MIT . We are 210 days apart in age , part greek , California natives, and i live in Tennessee, where he died. Ha . Jeff played with John Humphreys, mit instructor, they tracked his stuff, with Tool drummer, and jeff played guitar, and reluctantly sang a little back up vocals. 🤘

Absolutely obvious to anybody who loved his music but dammit what a tragedy what a real loss that So many never got to really know the genius and I don’t use that word lightly of Jeff Buckley when he played live he and his band interacted intuitively and that’s the best way to play in my opinion it was definitely a life that should not have been cut short

So... people have been saying negative things about jimmy page complimenting Jeff Buckley and that Jimmy page compliment is not something to be impressed with. I slightly disagree. Jimmy page has influenced millions of guitarists from all ages. Out of all those millions of guitarist he sets his eyes on Jeff Buckley, and sees the greatness in him. It’s like impressing your teacher at middle/high school. If your teacher sees you as a very capable student, wouldn’t others also be impressed of your capabilities? Just think about it for a sec.

Not going to get into a ridiculous debate about Tim vs. Jeff. Both had amazing 4 octave ranges and a desire to explore something different. Virtually every album Tim made is different from the previous one. Not surprisingly Jeff wished to escape the shadow of his father. I have a feeling though that his father would have understood. BTW, I very much liked "Dream Brother" the book that parallels their lives.
