As someone who's been struggling spiritually, (for quite some time now) I have to just say THANK YOU. I can't express how much this message means to me. For decades, I've struggled with feeling inadequate. For DECADES. I tried, and fell, and tried and fell, and clawed my way uphill, reaching out waiting for His hand to grab mine. This talk helped me to realize, that He's not waiting at the the top of the hill, reaching out for my hand. He's been right by me. Holding my hand, pushing me forward, believing in me every.step.of.the.way. He can't push me forward if I fall and choose to stay down, but He NEVER lets go of my hand, and never gives up on me. My heart is so full of gratitude for His grace, and I am finally now believing that He sees something in me, that He's seen all along, and though I might not see it for myself, I trust that HE does. And that's good enough for me.

Have you been changed by grace? I love that sentiment. To my fellow LDS who completely misunderstand Grace- Grace alone DOES save us; it is the ONLY thing that can. "After All We Can Do" exalts us- and there is a huge difference between the two. Salvation and exaltation are two completely different concepts; one being our minimal situation in the next life , the other being the maximal. We tend to consider the maximal to be the minimal, but our fellow Christians don't use or comprehend the our terminology. It's almost just "semantics," and yet it isn't. To my fellow Christians that think we LDS just don't "get" Grace, I would assert that just as many of you believe saying 'I believe' once in a lifetime, then never doing a single thing to show your faith beyond going to church on Easter Sunday & slapping a Jesus fish on your car is all it takes to "receive" the gift of Grace. Yes, the gift is free, but you have to bother opening it in order to actually receive it. And yes, there are absolutely LDS who think they must work, work, work their way into heaven, but as noted, just as many in the mainstream of Christianity think they don't have to do a single thing (let alone repent for anything) to show they have bothered to unwrap Christ's gift and embrace it in their lives. Great speech, Brother Wilcox.

I love it thanks. Here is how feel. That the essence of life is to grow and become more like our heavenly parents. A small child can grow and become an adult. We can grow and become more like Our heavenly parents. Wemon do not throw their bodies away after resurrection. Why come to earth get a body if we can not keep it after resurrection. God's plan is so beautiful. His love is so great. It is alwaus thete we do just keep practicing even when we fail. Here is a great saying i learned . If i fail at a thing i fail at a thing. I will kerp trying to overcome my weakness. Here is another thinking that i love . I am only one and the Father of my children that does not mean that there cannot be more Father's. I believe that the same thing is true with our Heavenly parents. We only have one Father in heaven that is the Father of my spirit that does not mean that there cannot be more Father's. No unchanged person can make it to God's kingdom i love it. Taking up our cross of responsibility to overcome ourselves to the growing process of God hood . Just as a child can grow and develop by practicing Godly atrebutes to adult hood. The same is true with us lerning to overcome come and become like our heavenly parents. Here is another thinking we could not develop faith if we knew everything and if we new everything we would be Gods. We are not there yet and we should not stop trying. I had polio when I was two years old. Here is something else i think is true for some people. God is more entamently concerned with who we are and what we are becoming then He is in healing all of us from our physical enparimemts. Thank you brother Wilcox.

Grace is such a beautiful thing. I love that we are not "earning" heaven but that we are "learning to be heavenly." So often I hear friends from other christian churches state that they follow Christ, that His Grace saves them, but them commit horrible sins and are completely okay with it. Grace alone does NOT save us. Grace mixed with ALL WE CAN DO is what saves us. The difference between happiness and joy is that you are happy to know that the Savior has saved you through grace. Joy is knowing and understanding that you have done ALL that you could do to appreciate that grace and to utilize the Atonement of Jesus Christ. I testify that Grace is real! A worker of the Kingdom of God cannot sit aside while the world gets worse! That worker is not saved by only grace. That worker is saved by grace PLUS his work. I know with all my heart that what I have said is true. In the name of Jesus Christ, Amen.

Michael Hanagan - Be careful with your statements. Grace alone does save us. their is no work that we do that will save us. A great example of grace is in the old testament. It is the grace of God that gave Israel the promised land. It was their role to honor, love and revere God for being His chosen people and for the blessings He was going to provide them. Obedience just shows God that we do love, honor, revere Him. In so doing they were blessed. When Israel tried to do it on their own they were beaten back. Understanding grace is understanding that their is a true and living God, that heaven is real, that Jesus is real. When we truly believe that that is real and believe that we want to be with them, then we are in the mindset to change. We cannot however earn it in any way. For that reason JEsus came and gave us grace. Grace alone saves us. Now we live each day rejoicing for what we have been given. We now can love our God for providing the only way. Salvation is given only through Jesus, not through some act on our part. We become part of Jesus when we have faith in Him and His grace, not in us and our works. When I realize that heaven and Jesus are real and that grace is fully sufficient to save me my heart rejoices. I love my Savior for the life He has provided me. I have faith and make Him my Lord. Obedience is just the result of true sincere faith in Jesus and shows who is our true master. Jesus asks for true faith. No true faith would desire to be in sin when they know the great abundant life, protection, and provision provided in and through Jesus by our Father.

Mormonism’s “restored gospel” is nothing like the biblical gospel-that Jesus is perfect for us. The Bible tells us that it is the holiness, perfection, and righteousness of Christ that makes us acceptable to the Father. Rather than an impossible gospel that requires individual, self-achieved perfection; the gift of “the righteousness of God through faith in Jesus Christ for all who believe” (Romans 3:21-22) is a beautiful gospel. And it is very, very Good News for all who have sinned and fall short of the glory of God (Romans 3:23).

Amazing how he knows so much about Christ yet has not used one of his Words. This is the church's grace but not Christ. Rom 11:6 And if by grace, then is it no more of works: otherwise grace is no more grace. But if it be of works, then is it no more grace: otherwise work is no more work.
