My interpretation of the video is that the guy with the baby and the dude at the bar that got shot were brothers. If you look at both of them they look kinda Native American. The bald dude must’ve been a drug dealer or some one who the one brother had beef with or owed money to, so he called the guy with the baby, (possibly the bar guys older brother) to try and settle up, which he’s probably used to doing, but his hands are tied this time. he’s too busy at home trying to take care of his child and family, while his little brother is at the bar partying, and probably avoiding all of his responsibilities. It’s very reminiscent of things I went through with my siblings. Luckily they are both still alive and are now starting to turn their lives around

You guys are absolutely picking it up. My interpretation of the lyrics is don't expect me to bail you out of your situation financial or otherwise that you got yourself into. I also got a southern Louisiana vibe from the video. I'm not sure what the connection is there.. maybe an implied culture that promotes self reliance and standing on your own. 🤷♂️

I lived in south Louisiana and although Yelawolf is from Alabama. Very much reminds me of all the gang crimes and violence I seen when I lived in New Orleans and my time in Lafayette. Being able to handle your own problems is something that cajuns/creos talk about a lot and they are often not afraid to get dirty at all.

I feel like the message has wider application than just the celebrity thing - that's Yelawolf's own personal situation, I dig it, but even being the one in a friendship group that people overly rely on to sort out problems - that can be emotionally draining. Or if you're the volatile dude in a gang and always starting up fights and dragging your buddies into the mess - this song is calling you out to think before you act. Ask for help when you need it, but avoid any unnecessary trouble and drama unless you're prepared to deal with it on your own.

The dude with the gun wanting his friend with the baby to back him up and friend is like handle your own shit. The message is that you got to stand up for yourself hence the civil rights references and not let people be demanding or depending on you for what they want when they won't do it for themselves and how if you do what they want then you will be the one that is losing... til it's gone.

I have always thought that some of the clips where from the tv-series Sons of anarchy because this was on there. Never watched it but I know bunch of people who knows the song because of it. Not sure tho. And that the theme for the video connects the song and the tv series together.

Just to clear y'all's confusion.... This joint has not any backstory whatsoever. It'ss just a soundtrack for the infamous series; "Sons of Anarchy" (season 7 to be precise) i didn't watch it but I'd like to assume that the shooting scene is definitely taken from that particular drama series. Because as you can see the whole concept and lyrics on the video are designed so Sons of Anarchy-ish. So there you are. Great reaction btw. Stay up and stay blessed.

My interpretation of the song is close to Lex, in that It's someone looking for a handout. The video on the other hand looks like two guys who know each other and "bald guy" noticed someone at his spot that did something apparently and his only thought was to call the guy with the new baby, who had other things to deal with, to help him handle what he wanted to. More so being selfish, it doesn't always have to be about money. You need to not fall into these sorts of traps with "friends".

The video takes a lot of parts from the TV Drama "Sons of Anarchy". A show about Biker Gangs. Thats why a lot of it doesnt make sense. You guys got there. I think Brad was just too hung up on the video himself, and that shit mostly doesnt make sense if you have never seen SoA.
