Why we trade Jackson for money we could of got a good player for that trade klauss for a decent player maybe someone who can score a goal

Bruh, get Markanich off the mic, lmao. Dude trying to do his best impression of Marshawn Lynch up there. To be fair, a lot of these reporter questions were pretty uncreative as well and gave him very little to work with. We need better questions during these pressers. Matt Baker usually has the best questions and everyone else kinda phones it in.

I didn't get the sense he was trying to shut down questions, but more that he's young and in a struggling spot within the team. Doesn't have the polish of dealing with a presser, but also knows enough to not say anything negative or give away tactics/gameplan.

@@Fatbug24 yeah, he definitely wasn’t being rude, he just didn’t really say anything at all, lol. He pretty much just said “yeah, idk, yeah” over and over, which again, was also partially due to the structuring of some of the uncreative questions he was asked to work off of. I’m not expecting the dude to go out there and soliloquize in response to each question, and I know they brought him out cuz it’s his former club, but he could have done a better job, someone else could have come out and spoken instead, or the reporters could have asked better questions.

Klauss doesn’t hustle, he can’t connect passes, finish chances, make good touches. 90% of his game is throwing his hands up at the refs or falling down.

Get Klauss off the field. Sam Adeniran actually scores goals

no he doesn't lmao

Klauss has an expected goal or assist once every 129 minutes so far this season and is underperforming in terms of finishing, only actually returning a goal or assist once every 180 minutes. Adeniran has an expected goal or assist once every 225 minutes so far this season and is slightly over-performing at an actual rate of a goal or assist every 180 minutes, the same as Klauss. However, most of Adeniran’s minutes have come as a substitute against tired legs in the second half, and his sample size is much smaller, with him only having played 516 minutes vs Klauss with 1,279 minutes. With all this is mind, it’s quite clear that Klauss has still been creating chances and getting in good positions and playing well in general, but he desperately needs to find his finishing touch for that to start showing up on the goal sheet. I’m fine with giving Adeniran more game time to see if he can recapture his form from last season, but I think Klauss is a better player overall and offers more to the team.

@@JayseabeeSTL Klauss has more expected goals cause Carnell plays Klauss more. He always puts Sam Adeniran in at like the 80th minute. Sam makes plays happen, Klauss is opportunistic

@@JayseabeeSTL the Klauss meat riding is crazy from the staff. We’re only playing him cause he’s a DP, but he isn’t performing. Give Sam the same minutes as Klauss and it’ll be a different story
@JayseabeeSTL2 ай бұрын
@@JackRineberg you’re response here doesn’t make sense. I was using per 90 stats, not absolute stats. Yes, Klauss has more minutes, but he’s been more productive per 90 during those minutes than Adeniran has, as shown in the data. Also, if you just watch the game, it’s clear that Klauss does a lot and gets in good positions. Based on the data, he should have 8-9 goals and 1-2 assist by this point in the season, and he currently has just 5 goal and 1 assist, so in essence he is just 3-4 goals behind pace. Klauss is 8th in the league in xG, but 37th in the league in actual goals. Most of the people above Klauss in actual goals so far this year are overperforming against their xG by quite a bit, while Klauss is underperforming his by one of the largest margins in the whole league. This is the nature of the game. Pretty much all players have periods of poor form and periods of great form, with the rest coming somewhere in the middle. Klauss just so happens to be in some of his worst scoring form right now, but it’s very statistically unlikely it’ll stay this way for the whole season. Eventually, he will find his form again and begin to regress to the mean (his xG).
