I saw this video of him singing Believe vand became an instant fan a few months ago and admittedly have taken a deep dive into his music. I actually just listened to a video today with a trained opera singer that has met him. She was talking about his vocal training. She was saying that he even sang opera for a year. She was saying that with his training he's just now coming into his best vocals and is only getting better since he's at the age where the male voice does and that he will probably never develop nodules or blow his voice out like many that sing the high notes in rock. She was talking with someone who was also a singer and they had both just seen his performance with Queen. They said no matter how good he sounds on any video he sounds better live in the arena. I watched footage of a quick mini tour he did last week and he was great and I'm looking forward to seeing footage of this summer's Queen tour in Europe. I hope they are able to tour the US next year because I am going to get a ticket if they do. I also plan on seeing Adam's solo tour too when he does one. His performance of Who Wants to Live Forever and The Show Must Go On at the Isle of Wight is incredible and also his I really into his song Closer to You (live sessions). Thank you for doing this video. I really enjoyed hearing him sing this again.

In the "I don't need you anymore" bridge, I feel he takes us on an emotional journey through four stages of breaking up with someone ending in self-confidence. I love this version. And on your discussion of lyrics, Alanis Morissette did a ballad version of "My Humps" that is lots of fun and shows how ridiculous those lyrics are. Strong recommend for a fun song.

My favorite performance by Adam

I knew this song but never noticed how deep and emotional they are. The internal dialogue! Starting out asking if there is life after love and is he strong enough to move on. Then the realization he is strong enough and doesn’t need this. The realization of his strength is so apparent in his rendition. I was really impressed. He knows how to connect to a lyric and take us with him. I love anything by Adam but I thought this was exceptional.

Superb, priceless! He also sang "I got you babe" there with Cyndi Lauper. It's with an excellent reason that Brian May of Queen calls Adam the GFG (Gift from God)! In 2019 during the American, Asian, Australia, New Zealand branch of their Rhapsody Tour, Brian May and Roger Taylor started calling Adam their "new/slightly younger brother"! There is no arguing with that! He's been singing with Queen for 11 years and he still has these moments where he hits those stratospheric notes and Brian and Roger have these looks on their faces that are a mix of astonishment/surprise that just say "What did he just do?" and such love and pride for him and they are grinning from ear to ear, it's priceless! His rendition of love kills is so awesome (live at Iheart radio), and "For your entertainment," Adam actually sang some of his solo stuff with Queen on Tour like "Whataya want from me", "Lucy" accompanied by Brian May, "Ghost town" live, etc. He also guest appeared on the show Glee, his rendition of Lady Gaga's "Marry the night" is spectacular! He never shows off for the sake of it. He will do it during concerts to have fun with the audience but he often holds back if the song needs it.

He is just so amazing! Another good Kennedy Center Honors performance that made the original artist cry was Heart performing Stairway to Heaven by Led Zeppelin. It was beautiful. Ann Wilson is another amazing singer.
