Thanks for addressing the earthquake question Brad. It’s been a glaring omission by other KZfaqrs. I’m sure everyone is aware of the earthquake map available from the Italian government but it’s nice to hear your take on the situation. Thank you.

💪🏼 I hate earthquakes. Lived through the Bay Area quake, lived right next to the freeway in Oakland that collapsed in Jack London Square. I hear that Abruzzo has little shakers all the time. Pass……… 😬

@@BradsWorld btw how do you feel in Italy after Texas? Isn't it too cold inside stone houses? We live in the south of Ukraine so it is too cold for us in european houses due winter time usually =( We keep 22-24`C (72-75F) at home

Would it be hard to find a caretaker? who could live in the shed full time, look after the property for you (not the house inside) perhaps have chickens which you could get eggs from when around, mow or slash the block also. That sort of set up would also be good for security.

Ummmmm maybe you could find that?!? Eggs are like €1.30/6 at super in case you don’t want to mess with chickens (and chicken mess!) it would be fine for a lock and leave. You don’t have to have someone living there 24/7. 🤷🏼‍♂️

Great property... I do want to caution that zoning plays a huge difference. Right next to this property appears to be an industrial company which stores / manufactures / or sells build materials - which can only mean one thing for this property, and that is value loss, value retention issues in the near and long term future.

He is finally better and thanks for asking! He is still licking his wound area which is pretty much healed over now, so we have to watch him. That's how he got the infection post-op to begin with. Ugh. Glad you liked the video. If I was going to live in Italy just part time, I think I would go to this area. You can be here 180 days a year without a visa and man for under $100K for sure you can find a nice place to base out of and not worry about it. And people stop worrying about resell value of these very inexpensive homes... Just use them as much as you can, invite your friends and be that cool person with a second home in Italy!

@@BradsWorld I have dual citizenship. So that's not an issue. But I still am not sure on the location. I love and enjoy your videos. My husband is not so enthusiast yet. I bought an inexpensive baby outfit for my dog when she had surgery. (Yours might need a toddlers' outfit) so she could.'t lick the wound.

I think this would be more of a lock and leave. If you wanted land and a big garden and lots of room in the flats (its only about 10 mins from the A1 freeway, biggest and most important in italy.). There is a lot of stores and shops and medical around this, but I think like a retirement place if you wanted big dogs with a good gated property and room for them to run!

My thoughts are that long narrow lots don't make good homes, as you have to maintain and pay taxes on all that land in the back but cannot really live on it. The house appears to be in a commercial semi industrial area with equipment and commercial activity on both sides.. all that stressed concrete and dated finishings on the house makes it look like a real money pit. The house is very close to the road which in a commercial area could be quite noisy and dangerous for children and pets. wheres the town? you will have to drive always to access any services.. No charm on this one ... just a bad location to live...

Great property and so much land. What about this storage company on the left side ?? are they very noisy ? how far from the beach and a ski slope ??

Ski slope? Far and getting farther every year! The beach is about 30 mins. Not sure about the noise level next-door although I was there at 4 PM on a Thursday if I remember correctly and don’t remember anything actually going on.
