At this point drake is just recycling lyrics that go back to topics of money, fame, bitches, I’m gud u bad, etc…, with no willing effort or force of will whatsoever. He sees his life’s work purely as money. Imagine being a MUSICIAN and not giving a fuck about your music this highly. Basically, he’s doing that as his homework. Leaving the room after recording shit and letting a bunch of trash “15-year-old producer tryna make it” handle his mess x20, compiling it into an album, shoving money down Spotify and streaming services’ throats so they shove down YOUR throat, making probably 100x the cost of production of the album including the features while feeding into his shitty ego, then repeating it for the next album. Why do people even buy into this shit anymore. I rest my 💼

Certified Lullaby Certified Nosedive Certified Waste of Potential Certified Cash Grab Certified Laziness Certified Lack of Passion Certified Pair of Red Headphones Certified DOGSHIT! That's how I feel about this album, and Drake as of late. His features (especially Rick Ross) tried to carry his ass, and even they couldn't do it. And DJ Akademiks of all people fell asleep listening to this album (which is fucking hilarious). If someone can make even their biggest stan fall asleep, that's when you know you got a bad album on your hands.

Yeah, like its not a terrible album, but for a drake album it's a flop. There's still a few songs I'd bump when I'm alone or around friends who vibe with it, but this def isn't an album I'd tell anyone to listen to outside of like 3 songs.

@@ohhhxhdh7034 several 808s in the album actually. Girls want Girls and anything you hear like that is 808 drums & programming. Anything with sub bass is 808. Have yuou ever used an 808 drum machine? It's in 90% of modern music, especially non accoustic.

As far as popular music there's plenty of 808 in every genre on most songs nowadays, even if other drum sounds are mixed in 909, 606, 707 etc. 808 is the most popular drum machine of all time and it's not for no reason.

i’m starting to enjoy this album a bit more, but only some parts of it. it has a lot of potential imo, drake just should’ve put more of the non-album songs on it. this album should’ve been champagne poetry papis home lemon pepper freestyle in the bible laugh now cry later chicago freestyle what’s next no friends in the industry wants and needs pain 1993 fair trade yebbas heartbreak imy2 you only live twice i feel like that sequencing would be a good way to sum up how drakes career is going, and even though it would be feature heavy, the features don’t carry drake on those songs. drake does his part and more on pain 1993(even though i prefer carti on that song), wants and needs, in the bible, and the other tracks. i feel like that album would be an 8 whereas the one he released is a 5 imo

I liked this album. It's not groundbreaking, but like a lot of Drake albums, there are earworms that you learn to love. I also think You Only Live Once is a classic

I’ll give it to drake, he made an album for his fans who will eat this album up like it’s the last meal on Earth. Besides that there is nothing interesting to most of the songs. Champagne Poetry will be the greatest deceiving intro of all time that song is fire. Way 2 Sexy is good for obvious reasons. If I was to make a playlist with songs off scorpion and CLB, it would all sound the same. Gotta keep in mind drake doesn’t make music for the artistry, he makes it for the money, which in a weird way I respect.

@@PeterGriffin-rp9iq i actually enjoyed the album. i liked that drake finally tried after his last 2 albums. even though honestly, never was different from an average drake song/album, you can tell drake just don’t care abt rapping no more cause he knows it will go #1 anyway
