I like Uzi’s idea of a “water board” except I think you guys make a hollow skateboard and partially fill it with water. That way the momentum of the water swishing back and forth and side to side would make it harder to spin, flip or land tricks

You needed to pre drill holes with an actual drill bit that would be very slightly smaller diameter than the screw you will use to attach the trucks. After you pre drill the holes with the drill bit, the screws won’t expand the ice outward causing the ice to crack. Please upvote so Aaron can see this and they can attempt it again!

Maybe for Ice Skating 2.0 you could attach a metal anchor to the trucks that would go through the height of the board and serve as a grip for your shoes on the other side. As the water freezes in the mold, the trucks will stay in position being supported by the grips at the top of the board (bottom of the mold). No screws needed, no truck wobbling, just sweet, sweet shattering the second you drop in!
