Max doesn’t like to admit it himself but he’s definitely very capable of creating something genuinely beautiful and special with his words and imagery. He’s so talented and it’s sad that sometimes he doesn’t even recognize it.

Fuck, this was amazing when it came out, and it’s even better today, so mesmerizing and chilling, my jaw drops each time the music starts, my eyes almost always tear up when goofball says « it almost makes me me feel as if I was alive again », and then the punchline, oof that hits hard, so fucking funny and yet it remains very sad for goofball, this is just amazing on sooooo many layers, I’ll never get enough of this.

I feel immense vicarious pressure through this video. From the casual commentary, to the long and beautiful stare goofball and the mermaid share, finally the rich and genuine confession goofball shares. It's surreal, relatable and comforting all at the same time. This makes me feel a new kind of happiness. Thank you.
