Understanding how the brain facilitates communication - including speech, language, hearing, reading, thinking, expressing emotion - is integral to understanding human behavior; and is therefore integral to shaping behavior and to successful remediation of disorders that affect communication.

Jason - agreed. Spent some time trying to find a well produced video explaining brain waves and EEG, little did I know that it would lead to a brilliant theory that may explain the cocktail party effect.

Nice work. An approximate solution to the Binding Problem. Probably should not refer to cerebellum as "motor"! It has more to do with improving timing through all processes, cognitive and motor, through a feedforward signaling.

I wonder if these frequencies form a kind of constructive or destructive wave interference (if they harmonize or not, temporally). Maybe those neurons that form electrically constructive wave interference are able to "join in" with the conscious experience (while those that are left out of the harmony remain unconscious).

Does this take into account individual differences in the pattern? All brain research seems to assume that the mean score is the true pattern. What if there are two or three consistent patterns within different individuals while doing similar tasks?

I'll have to watch again but how do you model lower and midbrain brain activity from EEG? Is that from correlating from other imaging methods? Nice video would love more especially on attention / filtering. Your link in the description is forbidden btw

this is dope after bro. science is fuckin lit. one thing I don't get though is where the perception is cognized and the response is formulated. So, the first blast of noise should hit a spike in brain wiggles, then as the noise goes longer, since the subject expects it, the response is formulated before the perception because the perception is expected? is that what that big red splotch at 5:55 represents? or am I reading the variance in the spectroshit wrong here? I'm confused because I don't know if that's brain wiggles in response or expectation of sensory input? any body get the gist of what I'm asking can gimme a rundown? this part confuses me.

Were the kids in the Language Learning Disability graph (with the two Beta peaks) listening to one person or two people? If there were only listening to one person, then how can you conclusively make a statement that the two beta peaks are because of "not coupling to the correct network"?

At 6:11 in the film Time (ms) is prophetic and replica for 2003 in me moving forward with my Mitsubishi Eclipse at the usage Revelation 21:1-27. Time (ms) prophetic and replica for "Two mighty stars" that the New Jerusalem is to pass by on its travel!

when you are presenting the coherence spectrum of children with learning problems (LLP) I think you make a mistake calling them children with listening problems at 13:35 don't you? Otherwise I find it a little bit confusing because in the next experiment listening problem is shortened with LP..

16:05 in the film here puts me back within my fellowshipping with Jesus Christ when I was in 2nd grade there at the last segment where the Holyspirit, Holghost captured a picture of him. Jesus Christ's hair in the wind as the red guy in the film here pointing to Heaven while she was saying "Terrill I'm not going to forget about your 9 seconds to 4 minutes sexual attraction to females......." My eyes looking at his hair pointing to her! The silver guy being me in the film there.

16:05 into the film also is prophetic and replica for the topic of hOmosexuality Christ copying his Father God here came where God elsewhere in the fellowshipping, another segment before this segment fellowshipped about earth and its harmonic of human spirits. The types of harmonies, straight, gay, both ways, etc etc. Jude 14 Jesus Christ used fellowshipping with me about how he and I are straight harmonic.
