Video clips from the show proliferated on video-sharing websites and the concept was eventually adopted by several countries. It became popularly known to non-Japanese speakers and KZfaq fans as simply Human Tetris or Hole in the Wall, named for its involvement of the physical body and a supposed close resemblance to the rules of the video game Tetris.

I'm learning English so this may not make sense🥲 i'm sorry.

the first one is easy. Stand on both legs and bend forwards. You don't have to raise your leg or extend your arms. its just funnier to try and fail than to pass.

It's supposed to be more entertaining than the American version. The Japanese show uses all well known celebrities and comedians to make the show funny. They're there just to have fun and entertain people, not compete to win.
