1:32 nope ... this only works in hot countries; even in france, this can be used only in the south, because in our north the winter weather can ice the water in the top layer, then ice will crack the tarmak, and break it dangerously. This is absolutely unusable in north countries which have hard colds like belgium, germany, Canada ...

It would have to be properly drained underneath as well (at more expense) or it would just fill up and turn the road into a lake after prolonged rain. It's better to run off the road into gutters.

I'm amazed that the stupid "power from kites" idea still seems to grab some people. It's not worthwhile, it only makes energy when the wind pulls it, and what do you need to get the kite to come back? Energy... Go out and try it, what you have is continuous tension, a force, it's not the same as energy, which is work done against a force. And as for it "disturbing airflow less than turbines", that's because it takes almost no energy out of the airflow. I don't know why anyone still funds this rubbish.

It's probably more than just porous concrete, it is a drainage system under the Road/Parking lot. He dropped a few monsoons in one spot, that has to go somewhere. You would need to rebuild the track. And could it handle cars driving at those speeds. It's a good start as some drainage for the concrete jungle. Possible problem with large scale use is chemicals seeping through as well.

I think that those robot dogs should be used to take down people, not to replace special forces or anything, maybe local. (If keesha doesn't impersonate me with stolen test scores, that is.) The parachutes are a good idea, but probably wouldn't be for property management companies or anything common, maybe extreme situations like massive natural disasters or something, but they'd still be bulky and not efficient in emergency.
@kellykwon22328 ай бұрын
I'm even against the prosthetic shit, I know an incredibly bad human being that uses advanced prosthetics and the frank truth is that keesha don't deserve that shit. A plush landing with the parachute is fantastic, but would be used once in a hundred years or so, if that.
@kellykwon22328 ай бұрын
Read another content, those parachutes would've been good in events like 9/11, but then the "fair" issue would come up. Occasionally, I wonder if not things like natural disasters are just a large balancing act of an imbalanced environment.

i hate how so many in other forums just put hate on high rise parachutes. At least think of some alternatives for the persons who can't use those supposed fire stairs or in some way will not get below the fire. Whether it's some built in low cost bungee or parachute, a life saved from fire or other extreme weather/earth event is better than saying I hate the idea if it can be done reasonably/cost effectively.
@kellykwon22328 ай бұрын
Needed those during 9/11, man
@kellykwon22328 ай бұрын
I think in a true emergency, the process of getting the parachute to the window, safely securing the person in, then clearing landing would take too much time and resources. The "jump" and the landing itself is better, but the preparation, the number of people and other equipment it would take to get the parachute to the window and the manpower to secure the person outweighs the soft landing.
@kellykwon22328 ай бұрын
And during fires or floods or high winds, it would be even more difficult to secure in a person, costing equipment and at least two people to secure a person in.
