Brainstorming next years science and social studies curriculum. We’ve loved Noeo science and Beautiful Feet studies and plan to continue with them. Figuring out which curriculum to use for my elementary aged kids to set our homeschool up for future success!

Love watching your videos!! Our kids are 23, 21, 21, 14, 9 and 6. Obviously only homeschooling our youngest three now.

I have a 6, 2.5, and 5 month old! My oldest will be in first grade and my middle we will start doing "preschooly" things...nothing crazy. I like the Memoria Press preschool guide and choice of books. I am still deciding on science and history/S.S. for 1st grade too. We may continue using Memoria Press Enrichment and use BF for world geography (we did USA this year). I never heard of Noeo before, but it looks amazing! Definitely going to research the biology one for us. We personally have loved using Dimensions Math for PK and K, so we plan to continue with it. For phonics, we love AAR. We are about to be going into level 2. I used pre-reading level when she was 4 and Abeka PK4 when she was 5, but AAR 1 has been great for us this past year. I honestly may go in that same order for my next two girls.

I love 1st grade! They tend to be so excited for school and actually able to do a lot ❤️ memoria press’ preschool is sooo sweet! I just ordered a bunch of preschool things for my 2.5 YO I’ll share once it arrives! Noeo has been so fun 😍 planning to order the next one in April and I’ll do an overview of it. I haven’t decided if we’ll do biology or Chem yet, maybe I’ll just let my boys choose again 😂

Highly recommended Kate Snow’s Preschool Math at Home. Very gentle and fun introduction to math. Think the style is right up your ally. TGTB science for littles is really fun. All my kids like it and super quick/easy lessons. We actually do it as part of our morning time as all my kids like it. My kids are: 8, 6, 4, 2, and 1

Oh yeah I bet my older kids would love to listen in on the little science too!! Definitely ordering that preschool math here shortly it sounds perfect 😍 I love how close in age all of your kids are! That makes it fun doing family style lessons I bet!

My kids are 10, 7, 5 and 3. And we have been using Kate Snow’s Preschool Math at home and i think it’s an amazing curriculum for preschool age kids! All hands on activities and I love how she explains why the activities are helpful. Good luck with your science decisions! I have never tried Noeo, but we did do BFB American history and enjoyed it. I think it’s advanced for kindergartners, but great for older kids. Even I enjoyed it!

Definitely going to give that math a try!! Okay that’s how I’ve always felt about bf American history, but it’s listed to try first on their website 😂 I’m sure I’ll revisit it with my middle child when my youngest does it. Good to know you experience what I was guessing haha thank you!!!

Sounds like you have a great plan!! My kids are 10, 7 and 5 and our core curriculums we use for skills are RightStart Math and Logic of English- LOVE them both!! LOE Foundations is scripted, but it is SO much fun!! My boys beg for lessons! And RightStart Math is so hands and fun, but the way it develops number sense is incredible!! For history, science, art, music, poetry, etc, we use Build Your Library (loosely) I add in lots of extras and take breaks for rabbit trails!! I'm currently researching writing/composition curriculums for my 10yo... that's the only things that's up in the air for us!

Aaah those are all curriculums that I’ve heard great things about, but the feel daunting to implement 🙈 your homeschool sounds very fun 😍😍 we’ve had fun with brave Writer! After we do another Dart, I’ll make a video all about our experience with it!

I have a 4th, 1st, and preschooler and baby right now. We were gifted TGTB curriculum for this upcoming year so my planning was done for me. 😂 I've never used TGTB so in excited to give it a try since everyone loves it so much.

My little one is six. We do mostly TGTB but will be integrating more Memorial Press and Sonlight as well as other resources. I am excited about that. I always love learning of what other moms are doing and the resources they're using. Loved listening to your thoughts..thank you for sharing! 🥰🥰

That’s the same age I started exploring add-ins to TGTB too! I will say the next levels of TGTB do try to add in more writing etc, but I prefer having a completely separate curriculum for it! Piecing things together has been really fun 😍 also I live age 6, they’re old enough to sit and learn for a while, but still young enough to be entertained with play dough or kinetic sand for half an hour 😂🙌🏼

I am trying to decide between Noeo Chemistry 2, Sonlight D, and Beautiful Feet's history of science. Did you ever look at Sonlight for science?

I did! I like that noeo focuses on one topic and dives deep into it. I suppose I prefer mastery because I do also love Singapore math lol I also preferred the books for noeo and that it came with more (from what I remember!)

I have an 8 year old daughter who is about to start 3rd grade..we just finished TGTB Language arts level 2 as well as Math Level 2. I'm brainstorming for what I want to do for history, science and if we are sticking with TGTB or not. Lol the struggle!

I live TGTB LA as a sort of checklist curriculum, but I also like to add more to it! I’ve heard really good things about Kate snows math with confidence and if I wasn’t loving Singapore dimensions, that’s what I’d be using 😍 also loving our history and science we’ve been using, highly recommend ❤️ easy to use and effective!

I have an 8 yr old and we do similar curriculum. Sonlight, memoria press but I’m here to hear about Noeo. I’m considering it for next year but not sure what level.

Oh good to hear okay!! I’m glad I posted the week of lessons then! There doesn’t seem to be much info out on Noeo yet. It’s been an easy to use and engaging curriculum ☺️ and they’ll randomly bring up facts they’ve learned related to their day!

We have used and enjoyed Kate Snows Preschool Math at Home and I’m sure you have already heard about it. Also, would you recommend Beautiful Feet’s Seasons Afield for a first formal science curriculum, or Noeo? I will have a 1st grader and a kindergartner next year.

Wow thank you!! I was searching math with confidence Preschool but didn’t think of searching Kate Snow preschool 😍 definitely doing that thank you!! Seasons afield!! So fun that it makes a great intro, and very interactive. Although if you did Noeo, it wouldn’t be a bad choice ☺️ BF is just so gentle, I love it for the first real science course
