The way the guitar in the anime was never played and was always just there reminded me of how teenagers always want to play guitar because they think it looks cool but never get around to learning it

I would always listen to the pillows after school in my room and go on with whatever i was doing, my dog started coming into my room to listen to the pillows with me a few days after i started doing this regularly and this song was one of the many songs of theirs that she seemed to enjoy alot. she would always sit next to me and listen to them with me, she was my music buddy in a way and this band striked me as one that she liked. rest in peace Gucci, im glad i got to have such a lovely friend to listen to music with.

I have always been completely enamored with the picture Mamimi took of Naota that's shown in Canti's screen at 2:05, but I never really knew why until a more recent rewatch. Mamimi pops out of the rubble shocked and confused, notices Naota climb up and pick the guitar up to overlook the damage, and the complete understanding and appreciation of such a momentous moment is so beautifully shown on her face as her first instinct is to snap a picture. In a way Naota gave her a new lease on life and I feel like she immortalized him with that picture in a way that will keep him exactly how she would want to remember him in the future. "So long, Naota." That's all she could bring herself to say to him, but then again, a picture is worth a thousand words.

This anime absolutely mesmerized me as a kid growing up, becoming a teenager. Best anime ever. And I have listened to the pillows for years because of it and they have an album like My Foot which is so good. Some of the initial sexual pictures are weird and that's what this comment was suppose to be about but this song just chilled me out so much, I don't care anymore. What a great band.

It is available via the rare, but easy to pirate FLCL OST vol. 3. This 3rd disc, if I may call it, also has other full versions of songs found in the other soundtracks.

This may sound a little cliché but this anime changed the way i saw the world. FLCL helped me become a little bit mature. Will always love this series and the songs from it.
