So for a stock engine, what's a safe boost level? What boost does the HO and lvl II kit run? i'm guessing 6psi or so?

Stock LT1 HO and Stage II Systems are 7 PSI. Tuner Kits you can turn up the party if desired.

The intake is sucking in hot air right off the exhaust manifold.

@@BrothersBuildsI wonder where IAT's would be IF it wasn't sitting on the IM. I hate filters anyway. I'd love to see a bellmouth before and after comparison.

@@cali2468 , great thought. If someone were fab handy, they might be able to design an intake routed from a cooler air source for even lower temps…I think depending on application, Procharger has some kits pulling from the fender well like a traditional cool air intake.
