Unsarcastic note: I liked the show and I'm hoping for a second season. Trigger's animation is always a joy to watch.

I don't understand the "stigma" that "if you watch shows with antropomorphic (optional) talking animals, you're a furry", when as kids we grew up with cartoons like Tom and Jerry, Looney Tunes, Yogi Bear, Lion King, Pink Panther, Huckleberry Hound etc. Why is it all of a sudden "unacceptable" to watch them?

Ruby Rose as a faunus....why was I so oblivious to this untapped source of extra cuteness to Ruby. Seriously, how could we make Ruby ever cuter than she already is: ...give her animal ears. And BOOM! Extra cuteness

I actually enjoyed BNA. Done by Studio Trigger with no hint of space travel or aliens, interesting. I also like the hidden easter eggs of other Studio Trigger animes throughout this anime.

But it being an important subject, I'll rewrite it, but much much shorter. So the gist of it is that not only "never mingling with other species" doesn't make you immune to genetic diseases (or diseases in general), it makes you more susceptible to them, because neither you nor your ancestors have ever come into contact with them, and thus your immune system isn't properly equipped to deal with them, because it never learned how to

5:45 I think you meant blood. It says "blood donation" on the package..... And this fact annoys me as a vet student, because not only are animal blood types different from humans, they're different between species as well. So you know how humans have 4 blood types (O, A, B and AB; positive and negative), and giving someone the wrong blood type royally screws them over? Yeah, animals have DOZENS of different blood types, and each species of animals has it'own category. Heck, some species (I think cows, but I may be wrong) have so many different blood types, it's considered that each individual's blood is unique. And you can bet you can't transfuse blood between animals willy nilly. And just as you can't do that between animals, you CAN'T do that between humans and animals either. AND ANOTHER THING! Even if, by through some miracle of random chance or law of probability, it turns out that the blood used was the correct type, she shouldn't have mutated into a half beast, because it would mean it was similar enough to hers that the immune system doesn't react to it and treat it like a foreign object. This isn't goddamn gene splicing, or DNA manipulation, it's a blood transfusion. If it turned out that one of her parents was a beastman, and her beastman side didn't manifest until later in life, I would have been fine with it, I could have bought it. But not this goddamn stupid excuse of "she was accidentally infused with beastman blood, and because of it she's a half beast". NO! This isn't how it f*cking works!
