Brand new mini jet from General leaking from day one

So I've worked on these, and it's a factory issue. They will send you new oversized O rings to fix the issue

Mine does the same thing and I bought two. One is still in the box. I flooded a hardwood floor with it by the time I noticed it was leaking.

Same. At very first use. Contacted the company. They sent out a new connection. Just arrived. About to change it out.

@@Drainman-mx5er replacement did not work. I think the port where the hose is connected is just poorly milled. I just put a thicker o-ring myself, and it stopped leaking.

My plumbing repair guy said when the motor fails you have to buy an entire new unit, motor cannot be accessed for repair!

The one I have leaks as well. First time using it. All the connections are tight. 🤷🏻‍♂️

General knows there is a problem with them but yet they sell them to us anyway

@@Drainman-mx5er I put a new oring in the hose that connects to the water outlet and it fixed the leak

its not the jetter its the adapter. they are notoriously badly built. go pick up a few extras. also make sure it is ridiculously tight

It is the adapter. But tightening real hard is incorrect, as the shank bottoms out anyway, and you are just putting extra stress on the hose adapter nut. Put a thicker o-ring on the shank of the adapter. Solves the issue.

No I returned it I figured if it’s brand new it shouldn’t leak and General knows there is a problem with them leaking why send them out with problems poor quality control in my opinion

I own one of these POS machines It sits collecting dust now. Sent it in under warranty and they replaced the pump. t came back still a piece of junk. No pressure, worthless POS. Do not waste your money on this
