The kitchen and lounge are as beautiful as she Carline. She's delightful. I love how Sarah and Tommy gave her the color she didn't know she needed with the classic black & white. This was fun to watch!!!

I admit it! I was cringing, thinking here goes another Victorian ruin. But, they gave a great nod to the character of the house with the light fixtures and bentwood chairs- very nice! 💛

Absolutely fabulous design. I love the black and white cabinets with the yellow walls. The look is really stunning. The pendants over the island Are really classy and the lounge looks comfortable. Sarah and Tommy knock it out of the park every time. ✌️🖖☮️

Well that prep sink is just stupid. In a corner where one uses it from the lounge!?!? In what world?? The island was ruined for seating when the sink went in. The over hang and seating should be on the peninsula. What a waste to not bring the cabinets to the ceiling. So much for keeping what's great in the period of the home!! This is a very popular look-two tone time will tell how long it lasts.

i love it! reminds me of an old timey apothecary. i even hated that particular yellow, but it looks really great in smaller doses and in a different light.

I like the yellow. Before we moved, seven years ago, we used Benjamin Moore buttermilk yellow in our home. I loved it.

I never like a sink in the island - except as in this case where it can't be under a window. Having the mirror opposite was a great choice. I wonder how it might have looked with a bit of wainscoting under the mirror, just between the tall pantries. Interesting choice to use the end of the room as a seating area rather that have a dining table, and I love the rattan wing back chairs that tie in so nicely with the counter stools. The door and trim elements on the island are perfect. I would love to see a similar backsplash with a square (rather than stripe) motif. I wonder if there was any debate about having the counter overhang on the peninsula versus the island. The contrasting counter on the island works beautifully. Lovely!

Hate it. Gap between upper cabinets and the ceiling, round corner sink at the edge of peninsula and the island is much wider than necessary. The backsplash tiles and white flooring are ugh.

@4:43, that is insanity. An island AND a peninsular in what is already a small space. There is no room to actually live as demonstrated @17:08 were furniture has to be squeezed through the small gap. @18:40, the lounge, are they high? A two seater sofa, a couple of armchairs and a coffee table does not cut it at all. That is an awful kitchen full of every cliche in the book. I wouldn't let those people anywhere near my house and would just keep walking if it came up for sale.

I feel the color scheme makes it look dowdy and dated. Also I think they just should have accepted that an island was not going to work in this kitchen. The whole layout looks awkward and boxy. I do like the cabinet colors and the backsplash very much. And the idea of using reclaimed doors to clad the island is brilliant.

I don't find it that spectacular. I used to like Sarah's designs but she is very predictable. I absolutely cringed at the choice of the fabric for the curtain. This must be old, but from all her shows (including those about her own houses) she still continues the same style. It reads outdated to me. Nice, but not very current.
