Welcome to Pride Parkway. In this video we take a look at my brand NEW OO gauge layout that is located directly above the current n gauge layout. The layout is 3 meters by 4.8 meters with three senic sides and a fiddle yard. The layout is DCC operated and trackwork is Peco Code 75.

Hi Geoff, Looks good to me, I do like the idea of your OO layout, simple track layout plonk and play buildings with a little tailor made, also being winter makes a differance from other layouts on You tube. I look forward to seeing both layout develope. 👍

Thanks very much Vinny, you’ve got exactly what I’m trying to achieve, hopefully I’ll end up with a simple but impressive OO layout and a more detailed complex n gauge. All the best Geoff

Good video Geoff, and I like the layout. Yes I think Dale and Valley are a good idea, valley with the stream and Dale with the Town. Mainly as valley I think are in keeping with the streams and arches. Like the mainly running scenes. The little corner, with arches could be businesses and have a car show room and garage. In keeping with the town scene. Your layout will be awesome and I look forward to seeing the trains going through the countryside. Being from Kent, euro tunnel trains across the Medway bridge is a great sight, now stuck in Suffolk, the imitation HST’s are ok , but shorter. Have fun, looking forward to the N gauge updates, got great ideas and tips on wiring lights from your videos. Thanks for sharing those with us, and of course the rest of the layout has everything else to give tips, ideas, and how too’s. Have a great break at Easter. 😎🥳

Thanks very much Paul! I hear you as a north easterner I miss the sight of those HST’s, being in the South East these days it’s all EMU’s which just don’t have the same excitement attached to them. Thanks as always for your support! All the best, Geoff

Curved points in a storage yard makes life SO much easier, just saying. More space to fit trains into the given space, I have it on two layouts myself. nothing derails.

Hi Geoff great to see you back and whether it's n or 00 (my guage) I enjoy watching. I've just built a winter scene model and you just need to be careful that your snow doesn't turn yellow or green. Some of the foliage leaches colour. It's worth watching Kathy millatt doing a winter diorama as she explains how to avoid it. Wished I'd watched it as I had to do a whole section again, yep it went yellow lol. Great video mate, great to see you back and I'll look forward to progress on both railways atb Andy

Cheers Andy that’s really great advice Thank you! I have watched quite a few winter videos just to be sure I’m not biting off more than I can chew and Kathy’s are by far the best. I’m also going to look to the guys at WWS for advice too. Cheers Geoff

Greetings Geoff, Who ever said size matters was wrong. The mix of N Gauge and OO matters not, the two layouts go together well. Going forward it will be entertaining if we do not know what your latest video refers to suspense is good. The running of different time settings gives you a lot my scope to buy what tickles your fancy. Pride Valley is good Pride Dale not so. What about Prideside as in Ambleside? Enjoy your holiday keep smiling. Oh don’t forget the sledging in Winter. Peter

That's brilliant, Geoff. I have toyed with a small OO layout over my HO. The scheme looks fantastic. Personally, I think Pride Dales has a great ring to it. Had it been fields or near a stream, it could have been Pride Marsh. Dales just sounds poetic and idyllic!

Loving the winter theme for the OO and summer for the N gauge. In the area where you are considering a market, you could do arches and have shops or garage type industrial units under the railway. Just a thought. Anyway really looking forward to seeing what you do next. All the best Geoff.

I'm not sure how helpful this will be for you. There's a little model shop in Sunderland (sorry I'm just guessing you are near by based off the accent) called Sunderland model Station. They have several new and used Skaledale buildings, there might be something in there for you. Again I'm not sure how easy it is to visit the shop but if you get chance it might be worth a look 😊

@@PrideParkway Aha - yes, the main downside of N is the limited availability of rolling stock, especially steam era rolling stock. My N gauge layout is set in 1989, and my 00 gauge in 1936. Great minds think alike!
