Welcome to another full tour video, in this episode we are taking alook at this Renault Master campervan conversion this has been converted to the customers own layout. The customers had a campervan converted by us about 20 years ago and they loved the layout so much we are replicating the layout just on a newer different base vehicle. I,ve watched 6plus van films now and I am impressed by the build quality ( tidy ducting ,placement of battery ,sound of draws cupboards opening upholstery ect )and how you obviously follow the customers individual requirements. Pleasing lack of bling without being austere. Thanks for the well made films they reflect the vans well.

The bigger wardrobe is a normal wardrobe setup where as the smaller one was for coats just incase they might be damp so they dont make the other clothes wet. Many thanks for watching

Hi Dan, would love to know what inverter you put in with the sargent system - as it doesn't seem to be rated for high power loading - for example if you wanted to use a microwave or something similar...?

The invertor is a completely seperate unit to the sargent system, they both draw power from the leisure battery but not through the sargent system so it has nothing to do with the sargent system. The invertor could be used along side any control system. Hope this makes sense. Many thanks for watching

Another well built conversion Dan.The only thing I think is awkward and pointless is the wc privacy fold out door.When inside the vehicle with the sliding door closed how does one open this door if one is stood in the way?The rest of the conversion is excellent as always atb Mike

Dan Quick question how do you fix a gas locker to the vehicle? ie to stop it bumping around and disturbing the connections etc?

Not too sure what you mean but our gas lockers are built as part of the furniture construction so they dont move at all. We do fit underslung gas bottles as well and they are bolted to the underside of the vehicle. Hope this helps. Many thanks for watching

Hi Dan, lovely conversation as every, can I ask do you insulate under the floor? I noticed on one of your previous videos that the floor is bonded down so wondered if you put insulation down first?. Keep up the good work.

You can do it with most vans but you are left with 2 holes in the cab floor to cover up. Many thanks for watching

I initially gave this a thumbs down for the layout as for me it's a total waste of space but! Having watched the video all the way through I had a change of mind there's at least one item that I would love to have had fitted to our van conversion namely the chage over panel for the inverter and 230v electrics which I was informed wasn't possible by the person who did ours. Did you fully insulate the roof in the cab area?

@@dantheman321 Thanks for the quick reply. The person who did ours said that under the regulations (Is it the 17th edition now) that it wasn't allowed.

@@GrandadBaz So is this correct regarding the change over switch mains to Inverter? Dan any input on this point?Is this technicaly iilegal according to the 17th edition electrical regulations?And how does this work if one has a generator fitted i/e a changeover switch from genny to mains is this illegal too? thank you Barry

@@mariataif Michael please don't take my comment as confirmation that you can't fit a change over switch. I meant that the person who converted our van gave that as an excuse. To be honest I never checked this up and the converter who did my van didn't have a clue what he was talking about I caught him out on other things the really biggie was that Truma no longer made and supplied the 6 G.E. combi boiler that I had specified in the build. I'm sure that Nu-venture know what they are about.

dantheman 321 , when I read it back it sounds harsh but certainly not meant like that, you have great vans and they make great showcases for your business, I am absolutely no expert on filming but I think if you slow down it would really really help. But I still clicked the like button.

@@in-the-vanpeter5157 Thank you Peter, I do need to slow down with the camera, the customer had just turned up to pick there camper up so was trying to be quick as not to keep them waiting. Might try filming the next one differently to see if I can make it better. Many thanks for watching.

High quality furniture but (for me) there is so much wood. The design of space, electric and gas distribution is bad. Surely you could put a shower inside with another design, i think.

The customer didn't want a shower and we were told to copy the exact layout of there last campervan which we did. The customer loved there conversion and it works for them. We build every conversion to the customers own specification and layout. If you look through my videos you will see each campervan has a different layout and different specifications.
