Virtua Tennis 3 is 13 years old and looks better than this

The game is so bad, the gameplay (players movement, shoots sound, animations, etc) is awful, not realistic at all, it is an objective fact, taking on this, you may like it or not, or in other words you may not matter its fails and enjoy what it is. Top Spin 4, a game from 2011 is way better than this one, but all has to be said, 2K games was behind that production, and Breakpoing studio (tennis world tour devs) is small, 35 workers or so. Anyway, it is not an excuse, if they have such a bad quality game the shouldnt have charged the full price for it (triple A price), and at least give this RG DLC for FREE, my god 20€ for it, so so crazy.

This is actually a good game. If you enjoy tennis and interested in it that is. It’s pretty deep and there are lots to do. I have not got any of the dlc yet but the game is good. Runs very well on the switch. Good review by the way.

If you have a PC get tennis elbow and install the itst mod! Most realistic tennis game ever. There is also an online tour just like real life! So fun.

Virtua tennis is still the best, wish they would do a game as good as that in the future

Can you approach the net in this game? Federer would have died of old age in some of those rallies nowadays - I don't think he's EVER played a 50 shot rally! - and even Nadal comes in pretty quick these days.

It looks better however I still prefer AO, I think the movement of the players just looks so much smoother and more natural in AO, in TWT it seems more stiffer and I still don't like the Arcady aspect to TWT.

Rafa Nadal is only free for digital users. Physical owners get screwed.

There is only one thing about this game that is ridiculous. And that is, the AI barely misses. Its like a robot. They improved many things, but the ai behaviour and mechanics are still lacking.

They didn't do anything with the terrible commentary, pompous umpire call and gave Nadal a generic action (other than twitches before he serves). AO Tennis is still the better of the two games.

I wouldnt mind a tennis game. Been a while. But after reading reviews of both the ao and this, i just passed. Then i see the re release with an added name at high price, i was like... Considering how bad the first game was, the lie about it opening with online multiplayer and the host of bugs on launch. The re-release should have been a free upgrade. Two years later and the Roland Garros pack is still a whopping £15.99. To buy just Nadal as a playable character, nothing else is nearly £6. Which I don't have to tell you, but is unforgivable. The developer has lost a lot of good will and as much as I don't want to say this. I hope people didn't/don't invest money into it. I'll always support developers and buy obscure, indie games. Or even ambitious games from small developers. However, with the ability to rectify things post launch. You have the opportunity to do right by the gamers and you have an obligation. The fact that you're charging full price for a minor expansion is not the way to get us on side. I'd advise to steer well clear and pray for a new Top Spin or Virtua tennis game for the next gen 🙏🏾

Game's Developer's are seriously taking the piss & too many of today's gamer's are allowing them to do this by constantly buying game's & then the DLCs & of course F'N rip off Loot Crates on top of the rrp... I'm looking at this particular version of this game on PSN on Sale for £11.49 but even though this is a more complete version I'd still need to buy Stadiums & (this is a doozy) id need to buy Player's also... I thought to myself that this will be an EA Title but nope it's another game's debeloper by the name of BIGBEN INTERACTIVE SA & it goes to prove what I've been saying for years as they are all out to rip gamers off & have so since half way through the life span of last Gen Console's right up until today's current Gen Console's, but with this Gen Console's they are not holding back & they are launching game's at release with so many problems that they need a day one update patch along with ongoing update patches... It's farsical but yet modern gamers won't drop their pads & say No More but they'll drop the money for these games quick enough without saying no & walking away from inferior products that modern game's have become... Rationing out Players & Stadiums for this game via payable DLCs is just F'n out of order & that's not the worst I've seen... Whether it's a physical discs or digital you should get " All The Gaming Content " from the start as game's modern game's developer's are milking game's & gamers bone dry... I couldn't care less if this was Doom Eternal (which looks brilliant) but if they start doing it with that game also I am not buying it as this rip off behaviour has to stop & only you the Gamer's can & have the ability to do something about this by walking away & not buying their products... It'll take time but once they see that gamer's are serious they'll soon sell games like they used to because if they don't have a buyer then they are out of business plain & simple...
