This phone was my dream back in 2015, the camera was like no other in the market at the time and Continuum was so ahead of its time. I also remember them selling these nice leather back covers which made the phone even more premium!

Heyo! Nice video, really cool Lumias. For the 640 XL you can actually unbrick it, however you would have to remove the NAND and flash the OS onto a special device connected to that NAND

Yeah that’s the only way I am afraid, though I don’t have the hardware to do it so now I just leave my 640 on display.

I still have a Lumia 640XL , a 950 and a 950XL. Cameras excellent on the 950's. Well ahead at the time, usb C charging , NFC, iris scanner and a power button to control the camera. I do have an Android, but prefer my Windows phone especially the photos they take.

since ur post at time of this is just a few days ago, can I ask you 2 question about 950XL ? Seems ur pretty familiar with it.... And, I saw on another video how some of the features don't seem to run that good, ...yet, being that it's an original authentic manufactured WINDOWS phone directly produced right by Microsoft (not just windows "compatible") do you know if this phone can *wirelessly* (like using WI-FI wirelessy) NETWORK to physical windows PC's/Laptops.... and does this 32-bit version of Win-10 have a Windows CONNECT Screen-Casting feature downloadable patch update like desktops/laptops got for full Win-10 on those devices, whereby this phone can Screen Cast (Mirror) to Win 10 ? So, to recap, the questions are basically about (1) phone-to-windows-devices NETWORKING and (2) ScreenCasting capabilities . If you happen to know..... thank you.

Another ask ! I want to migrate back to MS from IOS but I use Apple Pay for just about everything, either via my Apple Watch or my Apple 13 phone. My question being is there any way to do something similar using either the 950 or 950XL and maybe a Samsung Watch of some description ?. I've just bought a 950 to have a play with but I can see from KZfaq that lots of things no longer work

Surface hardware is just level better. Glance screen on Luumia dropdown dragdown dark no screenlight is very promising. looking for time the next 100% screen to body handset from the company we- trust. keep doing good work better people!

windows phone OS is arm32. its just the 950 series which has an arm64 processor (tho it still uses arm32 wp for backwards compatability ig)
