Thanks for taking out the time to make these enjoyable videos. 2 questions Can you suggest a small strainer for paint, to use with airbrush? All strainer types are large in size, and plastic. I would like to know what is the finishing product (shoes)? Matte Finish Spray, Varnish Spray? Thanks again.

So I actually pick up a mesh strainer for the dollar store, the kitchen use ones are the most ideal. For finisher I use liquid kicks matte finish it’s the best on the market

No unfortuantely you’ll always hear us say we never recommend painting soles / midsoles.. no matter what prep or finisher you use it’s going to wear away quickly

So if a customer orders a pair of shoes... they come in a Nike box with Nike paper. What do you do with the stuff once you replace it with all of your custom boxes and paper? Also... what was the website for the custom shoe boxes??

Looking for some advice from anyone in the comment section that also paints shoes. I've just painted the front toe of some AirForce shoes with yellow angelus paint. I then finished them with the Matte Acrylic Finisher. However, I'm looking to change the yellow to a lilac colour. Is this something I can do? I'm just conscious of painting on top of the yellow paint because of the finisher, I don't think it'd stick as well. Is the only option to use the preparer and deglazer or acetone to remove the finisher and paint to then paint on top with lilac paint? Or will this damage the leather underneath. Hopefully somebody has some advice! Thanks in advance for any help!

You gotta remove the paint. You don’t want to just pile more paint on top cause now there’s wayyy too much paint for the shoes to bend properly without cracking

I might be misunderstanding your question.. but $930 is just your total costs. That means you’re paying 3.72 for each box if you purchase $250.. that per unit price will go up or down depending if you buy more or less boxes

I went to buy products sadly angelus paint kit that comes with 80 is only sold in 1oz not sure if thats enough for a whole pair

If you were painting an entire pair of shoes one color, I would say typically you’d need around 1-2 oz of paint

Haha we covered it in the vid that the 2 larger sizes are recommend, ours are bigger to accommodate a lot of the larger cleats we do.

Without a doubt, as a starter I don’t think you need all of these things at all. As we mentioned, you build this up as you go.

You can buy blank boxes from a site like uline and just paint them.
