Holding Ayuk to 49 yards for 5 quarters was one of the more underrated performamces by that KC defence. This guy is elite.

2020: 748 2021: 826 2022: 1,015 2023: 1,342 He unlocked himself! He’s slowly becoming good. Brock most definitely wasn’t creating separation or getting some YAC. His route running can be compared to D. Adams

Give credit to Brock Purdy buying himself a lot of time in the pocket to make these throws. Ayuk is a top 3 WR in the league, and has surpassed Deebo imo. But these highlights also show the brilliance of Brock Purdy.

Please Chargers please 🙏 Throw pick 37 at SF and get this man. Would give him 4yr 86M day one !!! After acquiring him, his first two yrs would be a good price cause he would be on his rookie deal (5th yr) his 1st yr and then the season after would be his first yr in his new contract and would prolly be like a 15M cap hit. With the rumors of a possible trade with Pittsburgh, I had to come here and watch these highlights. He’s a very good receiver, but I would only need two fingers to count how many great catches I saw. For a season? $30M a year has been reported. What am I missing? I just don’t see it.

I don't think he needs to make many aesthetically great/spectacular catches with how wide open gets. He beats man/zone consistently and works different levels of the field. He plays multiple receiver positions so cleanly. We'll see about the money but Calvin Ridley is getting a bag and definitely is not on Aiyuk's level. I feel like he can fit into any team's offensive package right now with his skill set. Just my opinion

Pretty obvious to tell you don't know shit about ball if you think contested catches is what justifies 25 million. First of all he made plenty and second of all he's one of the best routers and the league and is great at getting separation, it's not the "system" that gets him open. Gets really annoying watching armchair GMs yap in these comments when they don't know shit 😂

Let him leave as he produced during the season but when it mattered he was just an average "joe"....if anybody is getting paid it's Brock Purdy get future talent at wide receiver as the draft is loaded with multiple guys at this position. And by the way what good is paying any receiver is there is no offensive line to block so that Purdy can fine an open receiver. 49ers traded Montana....Lott... Crabtree...charlie Garner....Rice....and many others that were great......All of a sudden Aiyuk wants Hall of fame money not having won a Superbowl....I enjoy football, but hate today's business behind it....

@MrDre18 I think the dude is a decent receiver but is largely helped by the scheme and the other weapons around him. I think he's overrated and hardly ever see him facing press man coverage where he's beating man coverage. I just don't buy it.
