Giants trade rumors have made their way to San Francisco 49ers WR Brandon Aiyuk. According to social media, Aiyuk mentioned the 49ers “do not want him anymore”. Should the Giants trade for the 49ers star wide receiver to pair him with rookie WR Malik Nabers? Giants rumors are still floating around Giants QB Daniel Jones and if he can be good enough for Malik Nabers. Giants Now host Marshall Green believes Nabers is the best weapon that Jones has ever had. ESPN’s Jordan Raanan says “It didn't take long for the Giants' top pick to make a strong impression. ‘I mean, he can do everything,’ quarterback Daniel Jones said. Nabers spent the spring flashing his special talent and making plays all over the field with the first-team offense, which the Giants hope is a sign of things to come.”

Go Get that top 5 WR core. Trade two, 2nd picks, and Darius Slayton. Give him his 30m a year deal. Malik, Ayuk, Wan'Dale, and Hyatt would give the Giants weapons that rival 49ers, Lions, Philly, Miami, and Chef.

Good player that anyone would love to have, but Giants aren't in a good position to spend crazy on a receiver. Go get a right tackle and solidify that OL. Neal is a HUGE gamble that will cost them games.

If we don't add quality depth to the OL the season will be over in Sept AGAIN. Look at the depth chart and tell me Jones isn't going into a shell after we lose the first OL to injury. He might never come out of his shell, Neal still hasn't shown anything. I can't believe I've been saying this for 10+ years.

Aiyuk was in the SB last season - if he's willing to come to the Giants then he's a player that wants $$$ more than a SB ring. Chances are we have zero chance of signing him and if he is willing to come then I dont want him.

No! They are known for the West coast off... A COMPLETE SYSTEM. and the 9ers ran it to perfection as they should as every team every player should want to... He's for there system and there should be an issue with the contract... That's actually healthy to the 49ers and the West Coast offense... The 9ers should believe that the players in there system asking price is to high.... That means if the coaching is working players make less.. The 49ers should believe they can get three wide outs in the up coming draft and free agency because... I have to do my homework But , I don't know that they missed the players and didn't say nothing because the Giants don't need him especially if it envelopes a whisper to the asking price of Jalin Hyatt .. and that means the Giants are still vertical and #13 is the better of the two with traits of #88. This trade would run Nabers right into an injury just like Shep and Quan was tagging up on injuries.... Stop inhaling the 49ers smoke screen

We need to focus on the receivers we have in the room. Why would it make sense to go pay someone else's receiver top dollar coming off a rookie deal? Giants aren't in a position to be wasting resources on a position that's looking really good going into this season. I'm sure Joe will not be making that move, so I'm good.

Yea there's just no way they can afford to give him a 30 mil deal. This is the issue the 49ers have, they have arguably the most talent stacked roster in football, you've got superstar talent on the o-line, running back, 2 at wide receiver, 1 at tight end, linebacker, and db. Very few of them are rookies on rookie scale deals, they're vets on 2nd or 3rd contracts who cost a lot of money. Only reason they've kept it together as long as they have is because of Brock Purdy's contract. And this may be a hot take but, I don't think Aiyuk is worth 30 million/yr. I don't even know if I put him in the top 10. He's good absolutely, but is he on the level of Justin Jefferson, Jamar Chase, Tyreek Hill, St Brown? I'm not so sure. I think he's in that 2nd tier below guys like that, with potential to get better. I just don't want the Giants to pay that kinda money for another receiver right now and I'd rather they look to build their WR room through future drafts, just like the Packers did. Packers have an incredibly young and dynamic receiver room that will eventually be one of the best in football, and all on rookie deals. For this season, I want Malik to get ALL the targets. I want to see him get all that experience and shine, because it'll help him in the future. Bringing in a guy like Aiyuk, immediately takes some of the shine off him when the Giants are NOT in a position to win it all right now, just doesn't make sense to me. So for me: It's PASS.

I think the Giants will pass on Brandon Aiyuk and trade Aaron Robinson, a 2025 2nd-rounder, and a 2026 4th-rounder to the Bengals for Ja'Marr Chase and a 2025 6th-rounder, so Ja'Marr and rookie Malik Nabers will form one of the best young pass-catching tandems in all of the NFL.
