I know this has become a huge meme, but I can definitely hear "let's go brandon" if I try to. Considering the context has nothing to do with politics, it's possible she really did hear that. Its not necessarily a "cover up", with these chants you can often hear anything you want to.

I know that my friend who took a course in journalism said that the reporter cannot repeat the words of the crowd. Even if the public knows what the protest is all about, media can only say there is a protest happening at this place. When the Vancouver Canucks fans chanted "fire Benning", media just said "well, the fans are making it known what they want". Let's Go Brandon t shirts are making a killing because of this

2nd Largest motorsport in the world but this is NASCAR Xfinity series basically a f2 if you watch f1 Brandon brown getting his first career win in Xfinity series

Obviously it's racing. NASCAR was started by a bunch of moonshiners that were making alcohol during prohibition and would build their cars to outrun the police and they started racing to see who had the fastest car.

I think you’re giving the reporter far too much credit. If I was the reporter I’d second-guess that “fuck Joe Biden” is what they’re saying, because that’s such a bizarre time to start chanting that. “Let’s go Brandon” would make infinitely more sense. Assuming she is covering anything up is being cynical for its own sake.
