My Dad was in the Military he was in the USAF and my papa was in the army. they both are veterans now and have a close relationship with God. If a cure comes for my disability i’m leaving to join the Military and fight for our freedom but if I can’t then I’m going to become a preacher! God is good.

@@JblazeToD I don’t think you realize how the military works my friend. Even though my dad was an Air Force he served for seven years he served multiple deployment. Yeah he gets picked on because he was in the Air Force but it’s no different from being in the Marines or the army or the Coast Guard. Those jobs are still very tough. it doesn’t matter what branch you are in you’re still serving and helping out this world… Sure they may sit around but when you need air support they’re the ones to be there in two seconds.

My brother died a year ago Aug 1st... He fought in Vietnam. 82nd Airborne. So proud of him. So proud of my husband, my other brother and his brother. ALL served with honor.

My Uncle Ralph is on the Vietnam Memorial Wall. He sacrificed his life in Quang Nam in 1967. I thank him everyday.

December 2019, I delivered wreaths to 3 cemeteries of Fallen soldiers and veterans in Louisiana. Being able to lay the first wreath over that headstone, really hit home. Knowing that they gave their life for our freedom. And knowing they gave their life for us to live our lives the way we live and work the jobs we choose. As an over the road truck driver I thank these brave men and women for their sacrifice and service. To the ones who are over seas, come home safe please.

Most of the men in my family served. Army, US Coast Guard, Navy, and USAF. My fathervwas wounded in Korea. He had shrapnel in his leg just below the knee. After 70 years, he had his leg amputated from above the knee. He had osteomyelitis. Since the amputation he is healthier today than he has been over the years. Those who served I want to thank you from the bottom of my heart for your service. Welcome home.

My Dad served in the Army for 22 years. He died in 2009. Even being an Army brat, this song touched my heart and made me cry, too. Military Wives are amazing women! If you don't tear up when you hear a song like this or hearing our national anthem there might be something wrong with ya. In these days of chaos and tyranny, I look at the flag and apologize to all the men and woman who fought for us. The way this country is now is the last thing they should come home to. Thank you to all who served. Military, police, fire, emt. You all make a difference. And I'll stand beside you all and fight for you also. Just sad that the future enemy could be our own. Stay safe everyone. God bless this great country!

It's a beautiful song,how it also is declared to all our men and women who serve our country,as an AMERICAN, I will always show our Veterans they are appreciated. My grandpa was deployed to the front lines during the Vietnam war. My my uncle was deployed during Operation Desert Storm. And the war on terror. He was on the front lines during the invasion of Iraq.

My grandfather was in Veitnam and so did my uncle John . My grandfather is still living . But my uncle was Sadly killed in Veitnam so this song means a lot to me ❤❤

One of my great great Grandad's passed away when I was about five months old but I later found out that he was a Navy Seal. I also later found out that one of my great grandad's served in the army but sadly he passed away when I was about three years old. I was taught to always stand for our flag and this song has a absolutely wonderful message to it.

my mother told me that my Great Grandfather passed away just recently and honest to truth I have an attachment to him through singing and he fought in WW2 and Korean war his name was Ron DePass and he is a very much a US Navy.

Wow, I am a proud military kid and wife. Several generations of my family have served. My Dad and Husband both proudly served and believed up until their passing that it is more then just a flag. God bless the USA and all who have served and the ones that have paid the ultimate sacrifice. 🇺🇸

As a proud American military family, I bless all of you true patriots! I lost my uncle on January 1st of this year. He was a man of true honor that served this country well in Vietnam and so on. He was special forces and a man that did certain things. Today is my birthday and the first time that I haven’t heard his voice on Memorial Day. God bless you all, be safe, and remember those that have served our beautiful country so we can be who we are today. Believe, have faith and we will retain who we are as Americans!

As an active duty member man this brings all of us to tears for those who truly understand what those men and women have sacrificed in life! Not everyone in this day and age completely understand it but sir we salute you! Thank you this makes me and many other enlisted, retired, and ones who never came back home happy brother! My father was WW2 Navy (USS Braxton) in the Pacific and my hero. My older brother served in the Army in the early 60's and I served in the Marine Corps in the early 70's. Thank you to all our veterans!! Great song!!

I did 28 years in the Navy. Retired in 2013. It was the best thing I've ever done in my life. I'm proud there are young people like you still in this country.

Amazing song! Can't watch it without crying. My dad was in the Army 28 years and retired as a CSM. I'll never forget getting to see my Dad after each deployment. I was blessed to say that because many of my friends can't say the same. Appreciate everyone's service!
