fuck the way he looked up when the dude said 'pharmacy' sent chills down my spine as a recovering addict. like it's a little thing but it really says something, that when you're using and using as heavily as Brandon was, your existence is literally nothing but drugs. wake up, figure out how you're gonna get high, scrape up some money, go get the dope and hope it's gonna be legit and hope it'll be enough to get you through the hour-day-whatever, then you wake up the next day, realize you're out of dope and your spikes are too dull to use, and your'e back at it again until you overdose, or the people who care about you find out and send you to rehab, or your ass gets cuffed and put in the cop car and you're in jail. it's all the same. the same thing over and over again, until that lightbulb clicks on in your head from whatever makes you see the light. best of luck Novak hope you're doing well man.

This is after he broke his leg you fool, in 2014 his life definitely wasn't that, he had been sober long before that. Do your research but yeah it's definitely no way to live, but as long as you have your drug of choice (especially if it's alcohol or heroin) then you just stay numb to it all/numb to your life and world falling apart in front of you.

Bonnie & Clyde Ride You know then you have been through it as well. You just have to wait. If he comes around he does, if he doesn't then you know that's the way it was meant to be. Meth is dirty. I used to shoot black and I still think G is the worst by far. The withdrawal from heroin is worse. But meth completely destroys your body and brain from the inside out.

@hichaelhighers
@hichaelhighers 10 ай бұрын
@@romankozlovskiy7899I don't know, I think this view is kinda counterproductive. You're basically saying addicts can't ever stay sober or that it's just the exception, which is simply not true. Yes, addiction is a beast (I'm struggling with it as we speak) but you HAVE to leave a door of positivity open for yourself to step through. That's not the same as deluding yourself though, given you're being fully realistic and mindful of the fact that the probability of a relapse will never become 0. It's just about letting go of the power you ascribe to it, demystifying it, de-romanticizing it.

I was this way once, after the death of three friends (including my best friend) and my cousin. Talking shit doesn't help people who self-medicate, as most have severe mental health problems that are not being properly treated in the first place. It makes me really sad when people shame addicts and the mentally ill. It's sickening. I wouldn't wish this level of agony on my worst enemy.

@@672sara you are completely ignorant to modern human psychology and addiction and how modern science shows how addiction presents itself and seeds itself. Being an addict is so very complicated. The drugs are a temporary solution to a personal problem. I hope every addict the best of luck in taking back their life. You deserve to be in control rather than that fuckin monster living living in your head. Addiction is one of the saddest and most tragic afflictions to be put onto the human race. It is so very complicated and absolutely horrifying. I hope everyone tries to show support to any addicts they know in real life. And my fellow junks out there, there is a way out, you just have to want to get out. Much love.

I started with three 8mg. I feel trapped because I have legit injuries from being a paratrooper in the ARMY. Physical injuries plus addiction is the sharpest of the double edged sword. I am grateful for suboxone it made it so I have control back in life and I'm not a mess drooling on myself or afraid everday if I cant score some pills. God bless everyone and never give up.

My 68 year old dad a methadone addict same shit drs had him on 11 a day...My uncle was so depressed he once ate an entire bottle of sleeping pills like they were candy...not to die but to kill his hurt... This is a pure hell they checked out I'm now left with nothing...in my state you can't force rehab...i told the Drs who were writing the legal dope which is more addictive they did nothing but ban me from their offices! Street dope ain't shit the pure stuff ten fold....now I struggle with loss & the pain nvr goes away...its literally watching the train wreck happen over & over... addicts kill not only themselves but the ones that love them.... True Story...the best advocates are the victims my heart has a 4ever hole in it....

Not to be a dick. But putting blame on doctors or big pharmacy is irresponsible. Putting blame on anyone but the user is irresponsible. Pain pills and anti anxiety meds actually help a ton of people with their condition, if they have self control...

He got off of that dope for a minute but soon as he took that hit he was blown away on that whole nother level and you can tell that he was tore up because his immunity to it was gone after being off of it for a while...

Let me make this clear. It is FAR better to be depressed and struggle with your demons and work it out yourself than to "self medicate". Self medication hides the problem, it doesn't fix shit. I self medicated with alcohol for a bit. It never got too out of hand though. But after two FULL years of depression and by the time I was really starting to lose hope I'm 80% better. I fought the good fight. It isn't easy and may take a long time but going inwards is the only way to really fix anything.

Man that's sad, at the end of the vid you can see where blood ran down his right arm and was all over his hand. Don't know if it was from shooting or IV but still disturbing none the less. I know he's clean now and hope he stays that way, if not show him this.
