the only bad thing i like to point out is that, dont take the foot off the gas. we started running more and almost let the Raiders win the game. thats what happened in 2020 when we would get big leads in the first half and we would switch to a heavy run game in the second half which let other teams comeback and most of the time we would lose

What I think is really underrated is Trey Pipkins played really freaking well Herbert didn’t get sacked once and was able to throw the ball well and had time Defense played as advertised yeah the playcalling down the stretch was bad but I feel like we ran the ball a lot too run out the clock we planned to get a field goal to put the game more out of reach it’s just it was missed A lot of teams had trouble kicking field goals it’s just Cuz Hopkins missed it overall I think we played a really good game all we need to do is just dial up the play caling a little bit more and when JC gets back next week we coming after the Chiefs and hopefully Keenan will be back in a little bit because our schedule gets a little easier after Thursday i’m pretty sure

Very, very, extremely impressed by The Mack Trucker in Khaili!!! He is the TRUE difference from last year s season and it is only the first game, 3.5 sacks as he used 2 bodies for the tackles or sacks, WOW!! Without him being a Charger now, we would of seen the same old stuff from our D. Those turnovers was caused by Derek Carr getting antsy or rattled around from Mack which threw Carr s mental game way off. Bosa will show up but Mack is the difference overall...

Did anyone else get the sense that Staley was a little pissed off during that presser? He seemed to be burning hot under the surface when responding to some of those questions. He softened up towards the end of the comments , but he was steaming on some of the earlier ones. Congratulations just the same. Chargers Defense was doing great. Same with Herbert. I was worried about this one with JC Jackson out, but the remaining corners did their jobs, even stealing some passes. Mack even credited at least one of his sacks as being a coverage sack. Same thing on the offense when Allen went out . Carter stepped up in a very clutch way. And the legend of Horvath is just beginning. I'm liking this teams depth.

It looked like the second coming of Anthony Lynn in the second half. That is on the Head Coach even if the OC is calling the plays. This is what happens when the HC looses track of the OC because he is playing DC. Piss poor Coaching. The players played well, Offense sputtered and found rhythm toward the end of the first half. Why not keep the foot on the gas? The Defense won the game I spite of the offensive play calling. Let's share the work load Staley. The D didn't need to be on the field that much in the second half. Kick off and punt coverage looked outstanding. Good Special Teams play.

With three turnovers this game should not have been close. Great job by the defense in the end but need to see the offense be more aggressive late. Let Herbert command the 4th and stop playing not to lose the game.

If the chargers can get out ahead of teams and make them throw the ball which seems to be coaches strategy with that secondary and speed rushers on the edge. We aint really built to defend the run.
