I'm newly licensed, signing onto a brokerage on Monday, and through my self education on sales recently, I've come across the same information (nobody cares about your achievements) in 2 books. A cold calling technique book and the Neuroscience of Selling, and they both say the same things; don't talk so much, listen, nobody cares how long you been doing it, and stop making yourself look just like your competition

Loved this video and all the others. One question though... How do I know what makes me different (weird question, I guess.) People regularly say that I'm the only agent who followed up and stayed in touch. But I don't really know what else, other than what other agents could say. I value the relationship with my clients above all else and I walk the path with them from listing to registration and beyond. I'm knowledgeable and I'm honest (but you can hardly tell people you're honest - they have to discover that for themselves.) How does one discover one's own positive attributes? And how do you communicate them without sounding like you're blowing your own horn?
