No upfront costs, but when the client buys - YOU have to come out of the pocket first. A nice tidbit they like to leave out. Don’t start print on demand with no money in the bank. If you sell 100 products you have to front the money BEFORE they ship to your clients. Keep that in mind.

So the POD option does have some upfront cost if you’re selling through Etsy. You have to pay the POD company the cost to make each order and then Etsy eventually pays you back minus their fees. I looked into it because I was interested and that’s the only part that I don’t like because I’ve seen some people say it can takes weeks for their first few sales for Etsy to pay them.

if you mean digital products section? If you didn't understand it, then he is saying that you can create digital products to sell to your customer base. Or products which can be downloaded by your shop's customers. To elaborate, upload your products onto the Etsy shop and sell them. I am not using his examples here as he wants people to watch the video. But for example, I have a customer who wants to download a "How to Bake a Specific Cake" course. Then you can create it using Microsoft Word of Google Docs and then place the PDF on Etsy as a product. And sell it. Or if I want to have my customers have the same digital calendar I have created for productivity. As your customer loves to try it. Then you have a template for a wedding invitation you have created and people like it. Then you can sell it there. I hope this is explained well. And I could write more but this might be too long. And he has some videos on this topic on his channel. But don't forget that Etsy takes 0.20cents each item to upload and keep it on the store. Also SEO is important. Aka Search Engine Optimisation. You can pay for ads but it might be costly and back towards SEO. So choose wisely young grasshopper(s).

The site sucks even though my phone is just a few years old there’s no where to click to sell an item. I tried searching listing an item and selling an item and it just doesn’t exist only some kind of dissertation about selling but no real icon to click to list your item. It’s easy to set up a shop but they don’t tell you how to list anything so my shop has been empty for three months because the site is run by a bunch of morons.
