Brandy put Brown girls on the map. She was that " IT" girl and opened doors for many young women who are out today. That alone makes her the winner. She has paved the way for those "IT" girls today and she has gotten NO accolades. She had barbie dolls, tv show, movies, and sold out concerts, 1st black female to play cinderella on a network under the age of 17. Everyone was wearing braids and imitating her. Her voice is raspy but can go very low and high (tranquility).I love Monica as well and she has a soulful voice. Both can sing, but Brandy took her stardom to another level and many artists study her sultry voice, tone, harmonies, and runs.

I was having a pretty shitty day dealing with costly repairs for a used car I just bought. I was walking around looking for windshield wiper blades at Target and I heard this song playing on the speakers. It lifted my mood so much that I wrote down as many lyrics as I could make out and here I am. I can't believe I missed this song while growing up as a 90s kid lol.
